  • God Bless America !

  • best commericail ever!!!!!!! if anybody knows the song tell me???

  • @ktmkiller33 "Gods Gonna Cut You Down" - Johnny CAsh

  • all similar. land rover LXR

  • @tastingo88 stfu the x5 and cayenne are pieces of overpriced shit

  • God this commercial just gives me the chills! great commercial and bad ass jeep!

  • The only thing better than this terrific video is inspecting and driving the actual 2011 Jeep Grand Cherokee!

It is truly a spectacular vehicle with unusual refinement and quality not to mention the great ride and fit and finish and features.

It is easily the equal of the best from BMW, M-B, Audi, Range Rover, etc. and at a better price point.

America is still more than capable of building the BEST - if only the government and corporations would stop interfering and let the people WORK!

  • @brentsrx7 The Mustang has never been made in mexico dumb ass also jeep is and independent co. but is 20% owned by Fiat and 20% by Chrysler and will never be in any way related to Mercedes-Benz ever

  • @ZKrashB It is well known that the Cherokee is a Mercedes ML with a new body. Sry to burst the bubble, but corporate sharing is a big part of the automotive industry. VW uses the Grand Caravan chassis for its van... It is a fairly common practice.

  • i like the background music!.

  • seriously, what is the song?

  • @MrFahlman91 God's gonna cut you down by Johnny Cash

  • @MrFahlman91 Gods Gonna Cut You Down by Johnny Cash

  • Anybody know the song in the backround

  • @brentsrx7 The Mustang is not, nor has ever been, built in Mexico.

  • ALMOST makes me want a Cherokee...but no, I'll stick with my Wrangler Rubicon :)

Maybe I'll get one for a family vehicle

  • @ChiefsFan581 Me, personally I prefer the older jeeps like Willy's MB, classics. the Wrangler still kicks ass though.

  • I think what the commercial is trying to say is that this car's chassis was designed in Germany (Mercedes) Manufactured all over the world by an Italian company (Fiat). The only thing made in America is the popping of all the parts together. Its not made here, Its popped together like a Lego set. China built it, Mercedes engineered it. A Toyota is more American than Jeep for god sake.

  • @brentsrx7 Mercedes has nothing to do with Jeep ever since Chrysler ended the DaimlerChrysler thing. It was DESIGNED in America. It's American

  • @ChiefsFan581 Errrr, Sry to burst the bubble, I want a Cherokee really bad, But it is a Mercedes ML chassis.... It was part of the tech left over from the buyout.

  • @brentsrx7 Really a Toyota??? Way to be a true American.

  • @brookepotter842 All American, I can by a Challenger made in Canada, A mustang made in Mexico, or a Honda designed and built in south Carolina... It disgusts me just as much as you dude.

  • @brookepotter842

    Totally agree with you.

  • @brentsrx7

Fuck you, the JEEP (and/or Willy's) is the most AMERICAN thing you can get! a Toyota is fucking Japanese.

  • @theMillerWolf Willies Jeeps were built in the 40's... A Toyota pickup or SUV is also built, designed, and engineered here. So why don't you get your head out of your patriotic ass and see how the world is changing.

  • @brentsrx7

No it's not,Toyota is a Japanese car company, they design and engineer the cars in Japan and on occasion build their vehicles here in the US. The company was founded in Japan and is in Japan. They may have some factories here in America to build them, but they are designed and engineered in Japan, always have been. Oh and FYI it's spelled Willy's.

  • @theMillerWolf Oh FYI, I work in the Automotive industry as an automotive designer. You have no fucking idea what your talking about. Read a book or something before you post, and stop embarrassing yourself.

  • @brentsrx7 do you work for Toyota?

  • @brentsrx7 fuck you i do research this stuff jackass

  • @theMillerWolf Your angry ignorant name calling American hick attitude is showing. Better cover that up before someone gets embarrassed.

  • @brentsrx7 dude, i was over that like 4 weeks ago and you're still talking about it. get over what i said like 4 weeks ago

  • made in the USA about time gotta have one

  • The commercial is perfection. Kudos to the people are Chrysler. They seem to get it. GM on the other hand.... not so much.

I think it's an amazing commerical. But it's a lot to live up to. Let's hope the vehicle does. It looks fabulous inside. Outside is okay, but front grill is kinda ugly. Hope it's made well. If we were in the market for a car, we'd consider the jeep just based on this commercial alone.

  • whats the name of this song!

  • @purduecowboy03 God's gonna cut you down by Johny Cash.

  • sales booster for sure i dont say this much but good job Chrysler

  • We need more commercials like this!

    C'mon U.S. automakers let's follow suit!

    Listen between the lines...

  • Badass Commercial!

  • I'm beginning to believe in silver linings. Atta boy Jeep!

  • Love the commercial, love the message....but.....showing horses instead of the Colt Revolvers?? Afraid of offending the PC crowd?

  • Everyone in America needs to see, understand and believe the message in this ad. It goes WAY beyond selling Jeep Grand Cherokees.

  • I like the commercial. Love the voice - is it Nikki Sixx??

  • The things they say in this commercial are true we dont make anything in america anymore

  • Beautifully done commercial, but a nit to pick. How come they show the Empire State Building and not the gorgeous Chrysler Building?? I realize Chrysler no longer occupies that building, but still!! It is still the Chrysler Building and Jeep is still a Chrysler brand!

  • Can someone tell me how a 7-slot grille is classic Jeep? The first generation Grand Cherokee in the 90s had an 8-slot grille!!

  • @Davez621 no it didnt it had 7 I know I have one out in my drive way, you might be thinking about the 84-96 cherokee

  • @sharonm1986 Actually, it had both. The 93-95 models had 8 slots, and the facelifted 96 model had 7.

  • Time to wake up America !! . . We can make this country GREAT again ! . . Sure can

  • GREAT AD! Makes me proud to be American, and it makes me want to buy a Jeep. It's on my short list now for my next vehicle.

  • Totally agree that this jeep commercial is amazing!!

  • i dunno about the car, but the spot is well made.

  • Love this commercial. I was brought up a chevy man, but I bought my first grand cherokee 8 years ago and I havent looked back. Go Jeep! I love this commercial.

  • im Jamaican..and this ad makes me feel American..real powerful words..lol..Would definately buy one!

  • This commercial and the new JGC look GREAT. I've already decided to dump my POS 2005 4Runner for one of these once they hit the local dealerships. Chrysler and Jeep have pulled out all the stops in an attempt to make this vehicle a world class one.

Sure, the lines are smoother and the features are more sophisticated but that isn't necessarily a bad thing. This is still a Jeep; just a more upscale one than some are used to.

  • WoW!!!!! Damn!!!!! Now, thats good

  • I work at Cross Chrysler Jeep in Louisville, KY. We will be getting some of these here in about a month or so. Come check them out!

  • i would buy this over a mercedes, bmw, audi, the quality looks great, its probably loads cheaper, and most of all its american

  • @stufoo

Not to rain on your parade, but the new Grand Cherokee still shares a lot of components from the Mercedes M-Class back when Daimler owned and screwed Chrysler up.

  • @quagmire2 man whyd you have to rain on my parade like that

  • @stufoo it does share SOME componets of the ML but for the most part its is its own vehicle. all cars and trucks nowadays use some componets of some other vehicles. but all in all yes this vehicle is better the the mercedes, bmw, audi, toyota, ford, gm or anything else

  • Will it come with a diesel?

  • Its time for us to STOP putting the world first . . . and instead put AMERICA first !

and for my generation that thinks imports are cool . >FUCK YOU !!!!> . you spoiled fuck heads

I buy American . .and only American !

  • @baberuthistheman America Fuck yeah. Your ignorance of the world around you, the difference between marketing and production reality make you perspective retarded. Which is precisely what they who sell want.

  • @cold02rex

I've owned 3 Jeeps each one better then the previous and each one still on the road toady with their perspecive owners. The good desgine of the XJ series saved my life from a head on collision with a tractor trailer. Jeep has always and will always build a world class vehicle.

Don't belive me, then put an XJ or a Montaro against a JK RUBIE.

  • @c300pilot I wasn't trying to dispute quality here. I personally think this is awesome. I have an issue with people thinking based on tradition that Detroit brands aren't at least as worldly supply chained as anything deemed an import. Well because that's wishful thinking of a long gone age and ignorance.

  • @baberuthistheman Your term for "American" is incorrect. The term "American" goes for all of the Americas. It is a term loosely used by many which should be fixed. The United States of America isn't the only America.... Therefore one could get mixed up in which "America" you're referring to.

  • What song is this?

  • @infinitig20p10 Johnny Cash, God's gonna cut you down

  • @glassinstall710 Thank you very much!!!

  • HELL YA!! here comes chrysler comeback.... 33%gain in sales and 5 straight month over month increases without even making new products.. when the chrokee comes out ITS A KNOCK OUT.

  • Come on Chrysler . . . make a come back.

  • it looks quite nice

  • You just gotta love all the idiots that came here and complain about JEEP !!

If you don't like Jeep then don't watch the commercial idiots !!!!

  • @jatinair1 Really? Have you ever seen a Srt8 Jeep?

  • i'd rather push my land rover than drive a jeep!

  • Nice commercial. Nice looking SUV. But, this Grand Cherokee has lost all of its distinctive Jeep lines that once made it a legend. You can't tell this SUV from the countless other generic looking SUV on the road. Chrysler-Fiat should redesign it so that the Grand Cherokee can stands out among the pack. Chrysler-Fiat should follow the example of the Wrangler JK design.

  • @2Phast4Rocket HOW?? it has a seven slit grille, and amazing off road capabilities. thats what makes a jeep a jeep. it doesnt make it a good car, but it makes it a jeep

  • @tonyandphil Any literate can read the logo emblased on the front grill and know it's a Jeep. You can do that if it's in silhouette? That's what I mean being distinctive. Follow the 7-slit grill logic, you can put a that on any HyundaiBMWAudiToyota and call it a Jeep. Not in my book. Look at the Hummer grill.

  • could this jeep be more directed towards rednecks, BUY AMERICA!!!

  • @Prestonboy13 Not rednecks just americans. (Don't worry I'm not an over patriotic fuck, I just love the way this commercial makes you feel)

  • Great commerical. Very emotional. Jeep looks amazing! Go JEEP!!!!!

  • I love this commercial! Its strong and emotionally powerful. I like the new ad agencies use of patriotic emotions.

  • @40blank do you know the name of the ad agencie?

  • @sieurJulien

That I do not, only that Chrysler dropped the ad agency that Daimler had hired while it was in control of DCX. I had read it on MotorTrends website.

  • Excellent ad. Just excellent. It left me speechless and excited for you guys.

  • Interesting the imagery for "Colt revolvers" is a pack of horses, and not an actual Colt revolver, while the other images match the dialog ("striaght stitches, clean weld, Jeep 4x4's, etc) ahhhhh gotta keep it pc.

  • The only new jeep that is still worthy of the jeep name is the wrangler and even that is getting way to dumbed down IMO

  • That's an awesome ad. Pride in "American made" and promises of being top notch. The reviews and the test drivers and those visiting the showrooms to see them will render judgement. I have faith Chrysler will NOT disappoint.

  • Does it come with an extra large bucket of all American fries?

  • wow nice trolling can you hop off Americas sack now?

  • I'm sold on one.

  • This is, simply and without doubt, THE best Jeep commercial I've ever seen. I've actually never particularly liked Jeep, always preferring Dodge (or Ram, these days) products for the off-road beat. But this commercial makes me want a Jeep when I watch it. That's what matters.

  • @JETZcorp You've obviously never seen the one where theres a girl driving a Wrangler and is bouncing all around...THAT is the best Jeep commercial.. haha. But you are right. This video makes me want to go buy the new Grand Cherokee and go off roading.

  • @JETZcorp just curios, are you saying jeep isn't made for "the off road beat"? i mean jeep is america's off road vehicle

  • @iwishiwasboarding No, I'm just saying that if I were personally going to pick a vehicle to use off-road, it wouldn't be a Jeep. While it surely would be very capable and would do anything I'd need it to and more, the aesthetic side is important to me, and for that reason I'd have to put the Ram Power Wagon as my off-road vehicle of choice for 2010. It just looks ridiculously badass, and I could use it to carry my dirt bikes around, just like my dad does with his '77 Power Wagon. :-)

  • Looks good to me! Miradart I think you got it to me it bring out a bit of pride in America.

Proscriptus I understand why you have hard time elaborating.

  • AMAZING! I love Chrysler. Keep the great products, AND great commercials coming!

  • I have a hard time elaborating the levels on which this fails. Well, all them, obviously. But for starters: Cheap stock imagery? Check. Derivative? Check. Jingoistic? Check. Jarringly dissonant? Check.

  • @proscriptus Wow, maybe somebody ought to be producing commercials since he/she appears to know so much about it.

  • @proscriptus You need to look up the definition of "jingoistic." You should look up pretentious while you're at it.

  • That's a good ad. It's kind of 'stirring', if you know what I mean. And that interior!! WOW! stunning. Nice shot pacing, copy, visuals and voiceover. Really well done!

  • AWESOME!!!
