  • I kinda want a 10-800mm f.6L IS USM that weighs 5 pounds and is $100

  • HELP HELP HELP HELP HELP HELP HELP!!!!!!! Do I buy this or the 135mm, because i do theatre photography and concert photography and portraits????

  • @NKEILSudios i think 24-105 is the best choice for u but if u do in a low light condition i think 24-70 is good to go =) hahaha

  • 1:20 NIKON NECK STRAP...on a Canon Mark 5D II camera? piss...

  • Am i the only person that cannot stand this guy?????????????

  • @IukeG lets cool off -

  • I sold this to get the 24-70 2.8, now I totally regret it! :'(

  • @HEREONOUTBAILEY

    why dont u like 24-70 ? , i am thinking to replace my 24-105 ?

  • @goldy444 It's no way near sharp enough for me at 2.8! I prefer the build quality of the 24-105 as with the 24-70, all the rings seem a bit loose & the shape of the lens is way more bulky!

  • thank you very much, i was thinking to change.. but u save me ,,

i just bought sigma 30mm 1.4 , very nice lens, i found 24-105mm with flash at night time , works good, once again thank you brother, in 2nd april new canon 24-70 f2.8 usm ii is coimng ....

  • I wish I have a 20-405MM lens, especially at F4

  • Any chance that you guys would do a review of Canon's EF-S 15-85? As a standard zoom lens, it's often compared to the EF 24-70, with the 15-85 being the choice of those who can't afford a full-frame camera.

  • Is that the lens the cameraman uses?

  • Comment removed

  • @ShootingInTheRaw why don't you sell your stuff?

  • Nikon strap-- Canon camera!!!

  • a BEER? Really chinese kid? :P

  • Kai: *whispering*

Random Guy: WILL YOU SHUT THE FU*K UP!!!

  • Compare it with the EF 28-135mm

  • The lens in the beginning is a cup.

  • I like your videos and tests !!!

Make more videos for Canon, please. ;)

  • You are an assassin! How can you do that to that poor lens! Criminal....!

  • 1:00 clearly there is someone out of the frame to catch the lens. lol. We didn't hear anything drop.

  • @ChuukeseStink Maybe because they bleeped the words out...

  • NIKON STRAP FOR CANON?!

  • I WANT L LENS O.O

  • 6:56 are u crazy?????:d

  • is this lens good for wedding photography?

  • @XxSuddenlyPsychotic It doesn't really give you enough depth or good enough low light performance. It'd be good to look into a 70-200 f2.8 or 24-70 f2.8 if you want zoom. Otherwise an 85 f1.8 would be a great prime to use on a budget

  • nice cup, look like real lens

  • i want this cup ^^

  • I want a 24-405 f4!

  • @Udontgetmymetal same, i need it for concert photography (outdoor) and i really want one with a zoom. I'm also debating this with the 135, but i'm leaning towards this one because it also has a couple of other goodies with it on amazon like a small sling backpack, lensfilters, etc. etc. ;)

  • Using any stock camera strap should be illegal!

  • 4:31 请勿拍攝。。 tha'ts illegal!!!

  • MY Brother walked in the room and told me that he had a Nikon strap on, i told him that he always do that and its not a big deal, and then he said IS THAT EVEN LEGAL??

  • wtf he's always using a nikon strap on a canon?

  • I will replace my 17-40mm with this

  • sethboy66, im from a minority group myself and i was trying to verify what the dude was saying, shitforbrains.

  • 7:25 heineken can on desk drinking on he job eh?!

  • did he say "wet wing" instead of red ring?

  • @texmex0073 Oh look another racist asshole.

  • please a review of the Nikon 24-120 f/4

  • "Dont want to make me look un-cool" he says whilst wearing a baby blue flat cap haha

  • He should have taken a picture of that bird bathing. Would've been nice to see the sharpness at 105mm.

  • Comment removed

  • The moment he spelled the water on the lens i was like: O_O

  • You guys need to compare the 24-105 to the 24-70!

  • the one that kai caught is the cup one

  • You have the real beast reviews :D

  • I think that this lens is great for outdoor shooting or studio potraits, but no no lens for an event which are not too much light.....if you are just a general photographer or studio potraits then it is a perfect lens for you since in most studio potraits you can use flashlight or softbox or any studio equipment....but I must warn you that f.4 means the picture that you can get will be most likely sharp and its gonna be hard to get a blurry effect like canon 24-70 f2.8

  • HOW COME YOU ATTACHE NIKON STRAP WITH CANON CAMERA, YOU ARE DIRTYING THE CAMERA!

  • "oh bollocks! It's in the freezer"

  • whys is it that this guy always use nikon straps on canon cameras??? watch battle of the bokeh 85 mm. same thing.

  • @totchikits just for the hell of it

  • Lens mug.

  • Does that sign say no cameras at 4:31?

  • @FIREandICE94 it probably means no cameras inside

  • one question if you guys can help me this one .If you can ONLY choose one L lens which one will you choose ?

  • @appledd1966 .. I'd say the 24-105 for sure if you need a do it all.

  • Thumbs up for KFC lovers :D

  • He says "its a plastic lens" like there are other lenses that are made out of steel...

  • @peopleofdetroit leica for one makes em...

  • @peopleofdetroit

    magnesium alloy

  • @peopleofdetroit Carl Ziess lenses, Leica lenses, and voigtlander are a few made of metal

  • PEOPLE!!! Stop calling digitalrev from making a 24-105 and 24-70 comparison because they did one! Its in the video where Kai was doing customer service!

  • Nikon Strap :P

  • My balls dropped watching you throw that around, lol Awesome vids as always.

  • @BigCatsWildlife pretty sure that was the replica mug lol.

  • @BigCatsWildlife Would be funnier if they forgot to put a pillow on the floor at 0:58.

  • I wonder what was the point of that bit at 5:49?

  • can you review the canon 28-135 usm is please?

  • nice bracelet ....rofl

  • anyone noticed,he said 20-405mm f4 lens?

  • @hanabishi123456789 lol i didnt realize till i read you comments...

  • How about a 28-135mm f/3.5-5.6 is usm lens review?

  • @mrkiks How about this. After three years, my 28-135mm lens, which came with my 40D, started having issues when extending for zoom. It was tough to get all the way to 135mm. Then, this weekend, something broke. I can no longer extend to zoom. Even worse, the piece that broke off is jiggling around between the two elements at the "front" of the lens, probably damaging the glass. So instead of repairing that lens, or replacing it for around $500, I upgraded to the 24-105mm in this review.

  • did anyone else notice that he said 20-405mm lens :)

  • review the canon 10-22mm on a crop body!!!!!

  • It's an F/4 lens, but on my Rebel T2i / 550D, it is ridiculously sharp / flare-free. Regardless of the fact that it uses the center (ie: sharper part) of the lens, i suspect on a 5D2 that it would be just as, if not more, fun as on a Rebel. (Albeit less absurd looking.)

  • @ganzonomy lol. my sister now uses it on a 350 d. looks ridiculous but performs. I gave it to here and got myself the 24-70

  • @OrsonMyles i use a 350d.... willing to buy 24-105mm soon :)

  • @armaanthebatman I use the 5d but also have tried the 350D of my sister. and I must say the difference is minime if not performed in extreme low light. you can be proud of having one of canons greats. (imo it performs better than the 60D or the 50D, I get to use lot's of different canon dslr cause I do promotion for them as well

  • @OrsonMyles if i dont use a grip on my 350 with 24-105mm would it be odd?... i want to upade to 7D later; btw my elder brother has 5D, great camera.

  • @OrsonMyles Are you really suggesting that a 5D Mark II is basically the same as a 350D?

  • @peopleofdetroit No of course not. I own a 5d MK II and I'm very very pleased with it. What I'm saying is that if not performed in low light, the difference are very small and virtually unnoticable if you don't go pixel picking. I'm saying the 350 D can perform similarly if used probarly.

  • 00:15 " 20-405 f4"

  • @AbRWillSuper that might be what's on the lens cup :-P

  • @coolchu001 maybe :D

  • @AbRWillSuper I fucking wish! 0.0

  • @alexpirpiris lol same here

  • @AbRWillSuper could have been "20-4 105 f4"

  • an canon camera with a NIKON strap... errrr :S

  • What dose that mean f/4 L IS USM?

That mean that when you open the aperture its f/4 only or what??

Please someone tell me because i wanna buy one please tell me!!

  • @JKL619JKL that means that f4 is as fast as it can go through out the zoom range

the L is for canon L lenses

IS is for image stabilization in all apertures and the zoom range

USM is for Ultra Sonic Motor for focus speed

and yah al that is through out the zoom range and the different apertures

  • @zeedan94 So what is the difference between f1.4 and f4, I still can't understand this number is for what the focus or aperture or zoom please tell me

    Give me your email! :)

  • @JKL619JKL it's aperture, and if the lens would have f1.4 it would without a doubt be the best zoom lens ever, but it isn't

  • I have this lens, and love it. I also have the Coffee cup you were tossing around. Not bad, but the top is a problem.

  • Thia lens has a very fast usm motor and very very quite during focusing operation

  • Place where BOKEH-MASTER lives... *UH* BOKEH MASTER!

  • 5D MkII with a Nikon neckstrap? Sacrilege of the highest order!

  • @Jetta2L8VTurbo kinda the point in his videos, he uses a canon strap on his d3 lol

  • i wanna cup of the lens like dat

  • ahaha fake lens

  • 2:56 Guy:

*WTF? Nikon? Oh noe, it's Canon...with Nikon Band*!

  • And the funny thing is that Lok is also filming Kai with a 5Dmk2 and 24-105 f/4 IS

  • thanks

  • Lens abuse!

  • How about a comparison between the 24-105 and 24-70? :)

  • @DorkmanJake That would be the most watched video on YouTube.

  • @DorkmanJake

They actually made one, but not in the title, its in the middle part of the Customer service video

  • Comment removed

  • kai what is the first L lens you would buy for the 60d ? I want to get something way better then the 18-135 kit lens.

  • @reeds74 Try a Canon 17-55 f/2.8. Good build quality and IQ. Otherwise, I would say a Canon 24-70 or the 24-105. The 15-85 is also a great lens (very sharp), although not very bright.

  • Whats the circus music when he plays with the lens called?

  • 1:00

    i cringed like a baby.

  • CAN ANYONE TELL ME THE PRICE OF THIS LENS? THANK YOU SO MUCH, I'M PLANNING TO BUY THIS AS A SURPRISE GIFT FOR MY DAD. IT WILL HELP ME SO MUCH TO HAVE AN IDEA OF ITS PRICE. THANK YOU SO MUCH

  • @1stuy $1130

  • Heh does Kai understand that lens mugs are just made to trick buyers on eBay?

  • Wut about the 17-50?

  • @Smalskin they dont make a 17-50L.. i think you mean 17-40?

  • 20-405mm lens?lol

  • can you make a comparison between the 24-70mm and the 24-104mm L lenses?

  • Canon should make a 18-55mm L lens (not sold in the kit)

  • @cat325ccr what Canon should really make is:

    18-135 f2.0, IS, USM, L

Now THAT! i would buy tomorrow - even though i don't have a camera yet !

  • @thunderbladestorm

but that's probably never gonna happen... unfortunately

  • why do you have a nikon neck strap... hmm.

  • I love this guy.

  • i have a 1000D and its a hobby for me even though i feel like i spend more time with it than most things. i use the crappy kit lens that came with and a few 1970s very good nikkor pre-ai lens. ive managed to squeeze out some great photos especially at iso 100. but infortunately the 1000D has a pretty low learning ceiling and im afraid ive hit it. im looking to upgrade but dont know to what yet. camera or lens. any suggestions? how does L glass do on a 1000D?

  • tossing a lens like that??? what an *d*ot

  • @kokfah You're an idiot, it's a lens mug.

  • @JohnHFilms they didn't say its a mug. did they? and it says "dont try this at home." so, who will think it is a mug?

  • @kokfah You should look closely, the front element looks purple-ish.

  • @JohnHFilms yuo, found that out after looking carefully, my bad. sorry about that

  • Somehow, I like the distortion.

  • @xstncd

yea me too.. and i got my 24-105 L today :))

  • @xstncd

Distortion is cool indeed, I'm bummed about my 17-40 not having the "wideangle" distortion that I expected. However that is expected when you use a crop body. (Canon 50D.) *cry* :)

  • Comment removed

  • The question is ... 24-70 or 24-105...

  • This lens on crop please....

  • Is there more distortion in the 24-70mm f/2.8L at 24mm or is there more with the 24-105mm f/4L at 24mm? Can anyone justify this for me? Thanks.

  • I'm torn between the 24-105, the 24-70, and the 17-40.... Any opinions anyone???

I like the 24-70 for the f2.8, but it doesn't have IS. but the 24-105 is nice because of the extended focal length, but the f4 and no IS turns me off... I like the 17-40 for more wide stuff, but again, f4.... Help!!!

  • Comment removed

  • @Buhzie15 I've bought a 24-105 for my friend and 17-40 for myself. I swap lenses often. Both are great. Forget about the 24-70 f/2.8. 'IS' to me doesn't really matter much! What are you using? Anyway both are good!

  • @kiwichai T2i, so crop body sensor. Mainly upgrading from the kit lens. I've been using the "fantastic plastic" 50 1.8 for some nighttime street shooting, and i must say, i love the big aperture. So probably the fastest and widest lens will win it for me.

  • @Buhzie15 really? isit that good the 50 1.8? Let me try that out in shops ;D thanks

  • @kiwichai I tried 24-105mm and was very impressed. Problem is its f4 doesn't offer the same B.O.K.E.H(!!!!!!) of the 24-75mm f2/8L. At first, I though the f2/8 works more adequately in low light conditions, but the IS on the 24-105mm will compensate for the low shutter speed, so it's not that bad. I think you can't go worng with either one. Btw can you be my friend too :P

  • he did say 405 :)...

  • @TheEOSDigital

    yeah... he so wack. lol

  • the 20-405mm lens? .16

  • Comment removed

  • Hello, can you make a review of 24-105mm on crop body like 550D?

  • @TheEOSDigital

To prove its performance capabilities, yet - it'd be more fitted for a full-frame like 5D due to the f4, however - it performs brilliantly on my 50D even. I actually sold my 24-70 after I got this.

  • @TheEOSDigital

Probably to prove it's performance, yes it'd more suited to use a 5D / full-frame body to test it. However it performs brilliantly even on my 50D, I actually traded or sold my 24-70 after getting this.

  • @TheEOSDigital he should make review on crop body.

  • for people who have this lens on a crop body, do you ever find it's not wide enough?

  • Comment removed

  • @vehlajatt22 well it shouldnt be' its only a few mm's larger than the 18-55 kit lense and thats wide enough for most people, it ends up being a 38-168mm lense if that helps, also take a look at the 17-55 if you think 24-105 would be not wide enough but you want a step up from the 18-55

  • @vehlajatt22 i sometimes dont find even 18 wide enough

  • i was deciding over the 24-105L F4 and the 24-70 F2.8.

went for the 24-105L in the end, owner of a 5D and 450D here.

F2.8 is nice, but after a few try outs at the shop i felt that the extra 35mm would serve me better, and the IS that the 24-105 has is definitely useful.

  • 6:56 is it really water proof.?

  • @SuperDakine808 are u serious?? its a cup, man!

  • my zoom ring is very smooth. the front lens even drops out from 24 to 105mm when you keep the lens upside down :(

  • @RATLben mine too!

  • What kind of filters would I need for this lens?
