It's like comparing Freddie Mercury to Paul Rogers, both sang for Queen, and brought out different things in the band at different times, invigorating it. Owens may have the lushness of youth more or less on his side, and that's a decent thrill. Yet Rob Halford sings with way more feeling/ believability. Comparing is futile, it's to do with taste.

Ripper tiene una voz muy ruda, ese "DIED" totalmente fuera de contexto, no por cantar con más fuerza o mantener un grito agudo por más tiempo le va a salir mejor. La interpretación lo es casi todo y Halford lo supera pero un millón de veces en Diamonds and Rust... Mis oídos oyen perfecto =)

Rob is the only singer for Priest. He is Judas Priest. So, they did not just "hire" him again. He just reunited with them. And not to mention his supremacy in singing over Owens and better ability to share emotions with the fans. No disrespect towards Owens. Cheers!
