Rugby League will never be popular outside of Northern England, Png Aus & NZ. If it cannot even expand to South Aus or WA, how do youexpect other countries to take this seriously.

As for Soccer its already the number 1 sport in 221 nations

Rugby league has several problems - firstly, its world cup seems to have many national teams comprised almost entirely of Australians, not locals, secondly, it only seems to want to expand on the back of rugby union. I don't see much evidence of them pioneering anywhere new apart from Lebanon. It's a bit like Mormonism - it does best where other churches have already been...
