@bosszeroboss being a banjo player myself, his thumb is used to playing banjo rolls all the time.. with banjo rolls your constantly thumbing that 5th string. never really understood it myself when i actually think about it but it comes together well on a banjo. cheers!
Bob is awesome, but is his timing off? I keep hearing the low notes at random intervals so there's not any rhythm to his playing.
He's a million times better than me, just askin'.
Probably has something to do with the transition between banjo and guitar.

He hadnt played an electric guitar quite a while. He was just 'finding his way'.
Bob was well impressed with the Squier and when he pops round for a jam it keeps him off my 60's Classic Tele.
