I read a lot of shit about this game like how everybody just joins one side of the two sides and just gang bangs the opposing side's characters. Also, there was an audio announcement thing that spammed the shit out of your speakers. Finally, they fucked up the graphics quality from the original demos. Huge noticeable downgrade.
Seeing how they put a shit load of money into this, I would have figured they'd have tested their game a bit.
@dingumfCallofDuty: I've played the beta version and now I am subbed. There are no graphical downgrades. They ACTUALLY installed an anti-aliasing system in the game just a week ago.
I'v been playing on my sisters account and i actually like it. I actually enjoy doing quests because the quests aren't faceless like they were in WoW where you go, accept the quest, do the quest and turn it in. The current quality in swtor is similar to what you would find in a modern game. I remember back with aion on the first day it SUCKED. The ui looked like mud, the color correction looked like poo and the sound sounded like mud mixed with poo(i think that's why my last headphones broke).
Everyone thats complaining the game is bugged etc QQ go back to WoW and be even more disappointed with your developers. You are called a consumer because you have a free right to either buy the game and enjoy it or have a Coke and a smile and stfu. Yes there is work to be done but we are up to path 1.1 a month after its release and to tell you the truth I am happy I am in the game whilst it first started and will definitely not be returning to wow. At least Bioware listen to the community...

Most of what the complaining on the forums have been(and its mainy the forums, ppl who enjoy the game are in game) is being fixed, and added. This video is proof. Anyone who still complains saying BW doesnt listen is just a troll. If TOR isnt your game then leave, go back to WoW, Rift, or wait for your saviors GW2 or Titan whatever. The only thing im waiting for is a more optimized engine to better the fps, and i know that will take time unlike the NOW NOW NOW ppl.

@gamenow44 youre right, it hasnt gotten worse, i barely use to run it on my Dell Inspiron Laptop during beta, now i can actually play smooth enough, including pvp and crowded areas. It can only get better
Guild banks will be nice however even more important is the ability to whisper and invite guildies from guild list panel. Either that's not in or it's been broken for me this entire time.
Here is a (useful) advice James: if you want the community to feel like you're listening, or in this case talking to us on a personal level, LOOK AT THE DAMN CAMERA NEXT TIME. You can thank me later.
@RealGamedale I do not want to sound trollish, but I am a pro videographer, and what they are doing is talking to the interviewer who is not in the shot, it is the way pro interviewing is done, (trust me I won two awards for a presentation on this so I know what I am talking about)

Which bioware for the most part have handled far better then any other mmo developer.

How about a setting in options to opt IN if you don't mind playing Voidstar and Alderaan against same faction? This would help queues a lot and I don't think people would care that much story wise?
How bout a "que for flashpoint" option?? Its getting harder to find people to run flashpoints each day. and I know that there are millions of players playing the game at any given time... so why not add a que option??
Great changes. But there's alot of non-gameplay issues BioWare has to fix first. First-off, the costumer support is awfull! Recovering items, or heck, just getting a reply to a bug report can take up to a whole weak!
And not to mention that the unsubscrube button on the forums doesn't work. Not saying me personaly will quit, but if you offer a service you have to let people stop using that service if they are not please.
Baning people who earn gold for no apparent reason is also not reasonable..
That better not be the extent of UI customization, wish they'd just open it up to third-party addons. And this legacy system allowing access to new abilities worries me because a) I like to focus on (and really only have time for) one or two characters and 2) every class has a bazillion abilities already.
One thing we've noticed in my guild is that not having a guild log, showing members joining, leaving, being promoted etc has made it hard to keep track of people. We're convinced a couple members left us without a word but we just don't know cause there's no log!
@Loreki Ya, okay, I get where you are coming from. I do like the member notes. Can you filter the list by level? I have never done that, but can you? That might help.
The main thing I hate about the UI is the fact that chat is in the top corner. While it's movable there is really no place to put it that isn't covering another UI part. Sometimes I need to quickly target a specific enemy and if they are near that window I end up typing instead of attacking.
@lodberg1 You have been able to move the chat box since release it's just if you move it anywhere you cover up some other part of the UI since ATM it's the only thing movable.
@900RedChocobo Actually what ruined WoW was that the devs listened to the minority of the community that were whining about easy content being to hard.
love the updates to the user interface.. now i know that people tend to nag this game for not having some of the features that wow has developed over the years..however some of those features were extremely innovative and need to be added.. we need a looking for group system that makes finding groups or flashpoints easier...the UI customizations shown here are better than nothing but allow end user developers to create UI addons.. you don't have to support them so why not..and macros please...
Pretty sure I've heard bioware state that it's not their intention to add a lfg system, as that took out the interaction between players in wow, and while I certianly agree with that, I can also see the frustration of spamming for a healer for 1 hour in a row
@MaMastoast Ya, sorry, that was a little bit of a crappy comment by me. I merely was speaking of the fact that on our server, repub side, it's DPS and tanks we have problems with. I have been in so many warzones where we have 4 healers over 250k and not a single dps in the top 6. All the calls for HM fps are for dps or tanks.

I want more ui customization, mainly to move thechatbox. I go to click on something in the top left and it starts typing -_-
Maybe a search bar for the galactic auction house. I'm a fairly new player and trying to find certain items is a pain.
Still I'll be waiting with arms open for new patches etc.
