Anyways, the story is old, silly, and by no means realistic; a throwback to the early chat rooms and spriting community that was around when the original series first came out, meaning people's use of the internet was still somewhat vague. Because of this I think it's much more enjoyable as a series if you take it for what it is, instead of over-analyzing it.
