back in the mega drive era i used to have this game i remamber beating it 4 times but than after i bought the ps1 i lost this game i don't know what happen's to it or where did it gose now i have it in a collection for the ps2 :)
i really wish if they put it in the psn where the game will have trophies.
The helmet sure is a tribute to Tetsuwan Atom, much like Pulseman was inspired by the Rockman series (the whole Rockman series was inspired by Tetsuwan Atom itself).
Wikipedia:( Sugimori is responsible for the bulk of Pokémon art and almost single-handedly designed the first 251 Pokémon (since Pokémon Ruby and Sapphire, others have helped to design the characters)
HE STILL DESIGNS THEM WITH HELP, WHY DO YOU THINK, all websites that have pokemon art, say SUGIMORI art and it includes the gen 4 pokemon. But I think I know what you mean, IN THE GAMES he doesn't make sprites, but he still drew the sinnoh pokemon on a piece of paper..-.-'
Yeah Pulseman is the merging of Rotom and Porygon, an awesome fusion. I LOVE ROTOM!! I hope those forms could evolve! Getting an upgrade not unlike Porygon2.
This was an awesome game when they had it on Sega Channel, I remember that Dark Pulseman fight, that was just plain intense and fun as hell, I really wish they ported it to the US
despite being a copy of megaman this game does have some ideas that wern't implemted into megaman games till later.
Like a cyberworld (MMBN), Being able to transport between two worlds (MMSF), and
@11:45, see that guy look looks a lot like Pulseman, that guy is Veil, created by the antagonist and he's something like pulseman's evil twin aka Bass.
When you think about it, its sort of a pseudo copy of Megaman. For example, you can only shoot a pulse arrow when you are charged, which only comes from Running or Dashing. And megaman certainly can't bounce around like a ball. As for the network things, those didnt appear in Megaman until 2001. Bass didnt appear until a few months after this game.
But, the premise of evil scientist trying to conquer the world sorta comes from megaman, but then again, that idea wasnt original to megaman either.
In case y'all haven't noticed this game was developed by Game Freak, the folks behind Pokémon and Drill Dozer. Pokémon designer Ken Sugimori was the character designer for Pulseman. His unique design style carries on into the Pokémon games. The game's soundtrack was composed by Junichi Masuda, the composer of the Pokémon soundtracks.
That "Solar Boy Django" made an appearance in Battle Network on more than one occasion as a cameo. I for one would be totally cool with encountering an EXE/Starforce cameo of this guy in the next Battle-Network-esque game that graces the DS or Wii. :) He's totally fit in, and he looks kind of cool too.
There is a english translator for this game.

how do you do that kind of teleport glitch?

Pikachu's signature move, Volt Tackle, is based on Pulseman's Voltekker.
In fact, Volt Tackle's japanese name is Voltekker.

The Pokemon battle theme is a remix of this games theme.

PocketMonstersFreak 2 years ago

mudkiprules4 2 years ago
I KNOW KEN MADE PULSEMAN
... You mean Ken designed the Pokemon in gen 1 and gen 2 BY HIM SELF
and he got help from other people in gen 3 and gen 4.

Your right I didn't think of that. He reminds me of Megaman and Zero combined
DHAZEDXZ 2 years ago
Well, Pulseman sure look like he would fit into as a Sonic character, probably due to a request by Sega.
Kinda made you wonder if in X5 they were probably originially going to merged the two broken robots into one robot (X going into Zero mode?).
OrinokawaMizuki 2 years ago
Believe it or not, Pulseman is the reason why Rotom exists.

Hey!, can you upload the other Pulseman run without the movement glitch please?.
wobbadot 4 years ago
That was awesome!
Here's my take-
1. Either this goes on Wii's Virtual Console, since it has english dialogue.
2. It needs a DS followup, especially with its brilliant glitches and programming errors. This blows Battle Network out of the water!
realar 4 years ago 9
Why not do both and make a new franchise?
GameHermit 3 years ago 6
It should be into three franchises.
Itself, Sonic, and Rockman.
Imagine, Sonic going Rockman-ish with Amy as his operator.
Imagine, Rockman with lightning speed dash.
