Farcry 2 was boring, Nice graphics though.

GTA IV defiantly the best of this lot of games.

Mirrors Edge is quite nice game i played it a lot. Far Cry nice graphics and weapons but little bit boring. Gta 4 well i dont like it much. Crysis - i didnt play it.

Very odd decisions to put Far Cry 2 and Mirror's Edge in there. Far Cry 2 is one of the worst shooters I've played this gen because of those gosh darn checkpoints but that was on 360. On PC it's probably effortless to aim and get back in the car. I's a shame my specs aren't good enough. Also Mirror's Edge, not particularly great and while I don't think the level design takes full advantage of the running mechanics, it's probably better to play on PC again. As for GTAIV, it's still brilliant!

As far as graphics go, these games are top notch. But in all honesty, no one has come out with an original idea since Wolfenstein 3d (1990) - the original FPS. All these games are the same - run around shoot.. run around open this door.. shoot. Just my opinion.

my point is that FPS's get old after a while. Games like Far Cry are a technical marvel.. but really no different than Doom, Unreal, Quake, Blood, Duke Nukem and countless others that have done all this before. One thing that really annoys me about most FPS's though, you can blow your enemy up all day long with machine guns and explosives... but you can't blow up a door??  No.. you need a stupid key.

Except Wolfenstein 3d wasn't 3d, you couldn't aim with mouse, you didn't gave cloaking, or physics, or parque, or gravity gun, or plasmids, or intelligent ai, or destructable enviroments and the list goes on these ideas had to be introduced sometime down the line between Wolf3d and now, to say there wasn't anything original since wolf3d is rediculous. Didwolf3d have rpg elements like Deus Ex and System Shock as I said the list goes on.

Games with loads of shooting free roaming and Missions is ur kind of shit. Off course all of these games are great but cant agree they are the best. not from my point of view. (I'm more of a RTS guy)

Hello i have a question about your gameplay on Crysis, At 2:56 to 3:03, Why the hell did you disengage from the closest targets you were shooting at first to someone who is further away?

You just turned a simple situation into somthing thats gunna cause you allot of damage :/

Well this was a good video. Ive only played 2 of these games and was looking for something new to buy. Farcry looks pretty cool, but crysis is too futuristic for my taste. Mirrors edge, it looks pretty kool. Ive played ME once, but it was the beginning level and I think that turned me off to it. Looks kool here, but when i played it it sucked...
