  • not really the right wing will listen to the right wing stuff the left will listen to the left and everbody else will ignore both sides and move about their day lol

  • @skiesgrayful Perhaps you should look into both sides and see if either have any merit. You may find that you are one of the people with their heads in the sand. You don't want to be caught off-guard by something like, say, the housing crisis, that so many predicted ahead of time and many were able to avoid by seeing the detriment of taking out a loan that they couldn't afford. Just one example.

  • @starfleetofficer1 the right has too many paranoid small minded ppl that get huge platforums to speak their nonsence, where as the left is more laid back, difference of a opinion is fine but the back andf forth crap is pointless and solves nothing.

  • @starfleetofficer1 both sides? well than that would go against your conservative agenda wouldn't it?

  • @skiesgrayful You just don't get it, do you? We are not about one side or the other. We are about simple individual rights for ALL. You guys are the ones who have an agenda. You are trying to take money from one class and give it to another. We aren't trying to direct where money goes, but leave it up to the INDIVIDUAL as to who earns what.

  • @skiesgrayful I see you are a bigot. I hate bigots. I won't respond anymore. I don't want to deal with small-minded, judgmental people like you.

  • @starfleetofficer1 bigot lol yeah look at the republican party very diverse LOL if by diverse you mean all white and rich ppl then yeah very diverse lol

  • @skiesgrayful I've changed my mind, I will respond, because you are just ignorant. I think you must be a young person in school, and you must have been fed lies by someone, and never have actually met any conservatives. Why don't you go ahead and check out some pictures of tea parties, or look at the crowd at Glenn Beck's 8/28 rally last year. Do you see only rich white people? No? GASP! Wait...you mean we ARE diverse? GASP! Makes you wonder what else the liberal teachers lied about...

  • @starfleetofficer1 funny where were all these tea party ppl when republicans were in control ....yeah nowhere they are just as much of complainers as the conservatives are they have no soultions they just like the sound of their voices thats all.

  • It amazes me how much antisemitism comes from the left. Of course, many of them are also militantly anti-Christian. The left stand for chaos, immorality & criminality. They support criminals, while ignoring victims, they support the mass murder of millions of unborn babies but want animals & even trees to have human rights! They hate truth.

Yet the left eagerly support Muslims-when they are the biggest opponents of most of what the left believe in! But the left love those who hate America!

  • @RogCBrand I think the left depends... or rather counts on what they believe are the facts... that there are more fringes of society that they can ""count on" voting for them... than there are actually the number of votes they could get from the "rest of" society... that is when I left the party. When I understood that the people they want to please... ain't me!

  • @mossrun That is so true! The funny thing is, even though they cater to all the fringe groups and minorities, more often than not they don't bother following through with their promises to them! They know that they will get those votes no matter how dishonest they are with them. The Democrats talk about the evil rich- when most of their politicians are excessively wealthy & become richer while in office. The talk of saving the environment but fly private jets, build huge mansions, etc.

  • @RogCBrand Agreed! Either side I suppose is more about the power than the love! But, if I am going to give the power to either undeserving side... I would rather give it to money hungry conservatives... that I have more in common with... than money hungry liberals. The two faced... b@@@@ards! Argh...

  • @mossrun Exactly-all too often I'm voting not for the good-but the lesser of two evils-the one who will do the least damage. I'm not happy with many Republican politicians, but in general, they are less hypocritical. The left like to promise everything to everyone, knowing they can't keep more than a tiny fraction of those promises. To divert attention from those broken promises, they portray the conservatives as wanting old people to die & little children to starve! And lefties buy into that!

  • @RogCBrand That's because it's hard for a non-educated or semi-educated (ie, brainwashed) person to buy into emotional arguments. It's very easy for any man, woman, or child do be against slaying puppies. How evil of those conservatives to slay puppies! I'm against puppy-slaying...you mean you're not?! You must be evil! You can't believe everything you hear, not until you investigate the source. And you can't count on the news anymore to investigate anything for you.

  • @starfleetofficer1 LOL! True! Or you could also include the "over-educated". The ones who have plenty of education- but it's all been in liberal brainwashing! How many people come out of college with no real world skills but are thoroughly indoctrinated into the leftist crowd of drones. Like Representative Anthony Wiener who was reluctant to resign partly because he has no purpose outside of corrupt politics!

  • @RogCBrand More than being hypocrites or not following through with their promises, the far left are actually working directly AGAINST the poor. Their welfare programs and tax increases on the rich, their policies for the environment etc etc actually do more harm for those things than good. Example, cap and trade. NO environmental benefit at all, and you can figure this out by mere logic (the same amt of crap gets into the atmosphere, you just change who is putting it out there).

  • @starfleetofficer1 Yep! The winning formula for the Democrats is to create more poor people-on one hand ushering in millions of poor illegals, which also helps degrade our economy, and dragging American citizens down. The poor become dependent on handouts from the Nanny State government, and the Democrats are the ones to promise taking more from those that have and giving to those that don't-they often don't keep those promises, but those people are always hopeful for something & vote for them!

  • @RogCBrand They are catering specifically to an audience that wants to "usurp" power from those who have held them in "oppression." It is an age-old tactic, to try to friend a person who feels oppressed (even if he's not, it doesn't matter) and then to use that person as a foot-soldier, being willing to let him die like a pawn, so that you can get the power when he takes it from whoever happens to have "control" over him.

  • @starfleetofficer1 The sad reality is that the "oppressed" individual could have had the power if he had earned it under the system of the free market. He could have been rich and powerful if he had concentrated his efforts on accumulating funds and working within his local community to gain stance. If he had used the system of the republic that our Founders set up, he could have made quite a name for himself. However, he chose to become a Star Trek red-shirt for the far left.

  • @starfleetofficer1 It's also like the left is trying to say that everyone can be Captain! They're the ones always pushing the-We need illegals to come do the jobs Americans won't do-but when I was a kid it was mostly Americans doing those jobs until they couldn't compete with people here ILLEGALLY & doing the jobs for less than an American could live on. Not everyone can be a pilot, a celebrity, a neurosurgeon, etc. You can't force "equality" as some have more talents, abilities, drive, etc.!

  • @starfleetofficer1 Yeah! You can always find a lot of people out there who are eager to be the victim & the Democrats are like door-to-door salesmen, offering a "Victim Package". Just look at many liberal "celebrities" who are filthy rich, yet play right into it, whining about how they are victims of this or that.

The left give out victimhood like knighthoods! It goes hand in hand with handouts! Part of the currency the left use to buy votes and stay in power!

  • Right! Get off our lazy butt and go searching. Lots of people can point out Bolder, Colorado on a map but heck get out of facebook and youtube and learn to use a search engine. Find the history, the foilage, the population of Bolder. There is a lot more than where it is found on a map. Take the backroads. Or follow blogs. You can find more in 20 minutes of research than in two hours... no 10 hours.... watching the news : )

We have the opportunity and obligation to find out the facts

  • If you perceive such lack of valid information in mass media, why is it that so much of what you speak about is very much in line with a large sector of the mass media?

Glen Beck isn't even honest, much less a fearless investigator - he speaks lies that appeal to a certain dominant sector of the prevailing paradigm.

Here's a video (not from a left-wing perspective) examining some of Beck's pandering antics: /watch?v=j4XCUK66puw

  • @blackacidlizzard - I agree with that guy.^^^^^^^^^

  • @TheBigHo111 I watched the video. You are changing the debate. It is not about your view of religion or whether Glen Beck does or does not flavor his comments from a religious ferver. It is about the facts not the feelings... about the facts that are presented. Debate this kid (sorry, young man!) if you wish on the facts that were presented that you believe are wrong.

  • it is a fact many of the often mentioned founders were not particularly sold on Christianity. Every "patriotic" call to return to Christianity (or "Judeo-Christianity," as is now popular) ignores the intellectual climate that brought the revolution.

That video didn't have a part I thought was there - pointing out Beck has repeatedly blamed violence on atheism in cases where atheists were almost certainly not involved, but members of another group certainly were. More mainstream, lying pandering

  • @mossrun Thanks for watching, and yes, it is no longer about our personal opinions, it's about changing the debate to the facts, which was how it all started, I understand, back when the media did their job and researched!!

  • @mossrun People who make arguments about Glenn Beck based on his religion, his style of speaking, his eating habits, his political affiliations, or his past lifestyle, are incapable of making arguments about Glenn Beck based on the content of what Glenn Beck is saying.

  • @starfleetofficer1 Agreed! Investigate, study, and debate. Badmouthing someone without logic or study is like saying... You are wrong... I don't know why you are wrong... but, I just know that you are wrong. It is a waste of breathe. And, their vote counts very little to me : )
