Yeah you can run multiple apps at once. Somethings the iphone does better than the pre and vice versa....But if you use the pre for a while you'll start doing the gestures on other devices out of habit.

What about landscape view?

If you downloaded preware and installed it on your phone, you can patch your phone to have landscape view in messaging, email and webrowser mode.

Either downloading web os quick install or preware, is probably the best option for landscape view.

great info! nice 2 know that palm pre has given us options now to have an on screen keyboard. personally, i prefer the manual keyboard,but this is a great alternative
