Sometimes, when you know how weak your opponent is, you really just want to give them a chance by playing a little sloppy. Playing against a human opponent is always more fun than the AI. I use to play King of Fighters pretty good and if a friend is willing to take up the challenge to play against you, it wouldn't feel right to outright annihilate them in front of all those people.
Weak match. J.Wong won against a scrub. The Ryu wasn't aggressive enough, which I don't understand since he had priority. The tatsu string J.Wong did towards the end of the video could have been destroyed by a counter SRK. This Ryu didn't abuse his Hadokens and just let Sakura right in. He also didn't punish ANY jump-in's which was just sad on his part. Justin played sloppy, but what's even worse it the fact that with that playing style he took the win.
Maybe. But on the professional level, which J.Wong is at, it isn't acceptable at all and is usually punished with a humiliating defeat. I'd love to see him play like that against a Sagat. Or a rematch with him again Daigo Umehara. His Ryu against that Sakura. It wouldn't be pretty.
dude he got like 80 wins in a row at that event in this video, stfu. and he was a fuckin beast at 3rd strike. i play against the best third strike players in the U.K, and they kill me in a second. like their execution and parrying is really really good, and then justin wong came and wooped their asses no sweat. so dont even try it man. hes amazing at SF. daigo even more so, but justin wong is still amazing.
what are you talking about? that was great sakura strategy. And it least justin wong tries to use other characters. Daigo only uses ryu who by the way is probably the best character in the game.
Her Dragon Punch isn't like Ryu or Ken's in the sense that hers has a lot of horizontal movement before the actual uppercut hits. If your opponent is right above you and you try her SRK, it will most likely whiff by going forward. Crouching fierce punch as AA covers jumps that are right on top of you for the most part.

no man, thats how u get ur ass thrown by me. most Srk u do should be light punch because theres is little chance of get punished for missing. If he used lp here and missed chances are he could still block that shit, regroup, and win the round.

sorry, but if you have any inkling of how to play SF, this is nothing special. I don't care if he's a respected tournament player, all the videos I see of him he plays absolutely terrible.
Justin is one of the genuine kings of the 2D rush. Just because he dominates, it doesn't mean the fights are bad. He just makes everyone he fights look bad. There's not much to do when he's mixing up all the time.
I think he's just playing sloppy cause he knows the other player doesn't match him. Sort of like what you do with your kid brother. Match that and that Sakura is a new character and I think you can see why you're not totally impressed.

She learned most stuff like shoryuken and hadouken through dan , he showed how it's done in saikyo style and she did it her way.
She followed ryu , yes she did, but she never copied him directly nor asked for him to teach her.
At least on the mangas.
