@rumblewezz1 I had the sameeee exact problem but I found the solution. Open up cydia, click on search, type in zToggle , download it! When its already installed open up zToggle, click on where it says iPhone 3g, 3gs, 4 then turn on WALLPAPER! & there you goo. Let me know if it works :)

If you can't find background activator, get ifunbox on your computer or w/e and then you can find background activator online, put it in ifunbox in the Cydia area, then turn your itouch off and on again. After that you can follow the steps this video mentions after you've installed the app (Y)

hi, thanks for the video. I have an ipod 3g that I upgraded to 4.2.1. Unfortunately when I try to set a wallpaper in the Home screen, I don't get any choice. Only option I get is "Set as Wallpaper" and that ends up in setting it on the Lock screen.

Do I have to have it jail broken for it to give me an option to set as home screen wallpaper? Any help will be appreciated.
