@Gunskie I've seen a lot of his fights and he sets up a game plan, which makes sense where he trains, and while it's smart to go in with a well set up strategy, it also makes people very predictable. His reverse elbow is something top lhw's and guys like silva and vitor belfort would capitalize on. Also his vicious g&p doesn't come into effect as much when you're talking about guys like Rampage, Rashad, Machida, Big Nog, Forrest Griffin and A. Silva who all do very well defending open guard.

No kidding, fedor has no technique? He's consider to be the p4p best by Renato Sobral, Nogueira, Wanderlei, GSP, Frank Trigg, B John McCarthy, and the list goes on. Frank Mir stated that Fedor was pound for pound the best "reason being, he's so well rounded."
Fedor has better technique than anyone, he has to in order to compete at 227 lb against 265 lb people in the HW division. ROFL no technique just heart. He has both.

Perhaps in striking Silva might be a little more technical, but when it comes to clinch game, and ground game, I think Fedor is much more technical! And like
you mention he has tremendous heart to go along with it! Anderson Silva has great muay thai striking which makes him very technical! But Fedor makes up for it with his super submissions and the ability to catch submissions any position!And he also has a lot more power in his punches!
As great as silva is, i'd say Fedor is a step ahead!

he doesn't really, not standing up anyway. wat he has are hands that are literally made out of titanium steel and his trick where he pretends to be losing, lets the opponent come in to finish him, and counter them with those rock solid hands. hes awesome on the ground though, and has proved time and time again he can get out of pretty much escape every situation possible on the bottom.

I've seen Anderson Silva lose but then again I actually watch MMA not just the UFC,
Anderson Silva has a lot of technique but I have seen him in close fights, hell I've seen him lose by decision, by flying scissor kick to heel lock submission and by disqualification due to an illegal blow.
I've only seen Fedor lose once and it was in a tournament where you had multiple fights the same day so even though he was cut by illegal elbow, he couldn't continue to the next fight and lost.

jrsommers, Silva, and Fedor are both excellent fighters. Both have lost. I have seen Fedor lose more than once, but this is MMA, and everyone loses. No one has a perfect record, and the myth of even the Gracie's was proven to be just a myth; they can be beaten, and often now-a-days. Anyway, Silva has lost more than once, and so has Fedor, and it wasn't a tournament-style event. It was Fedor's only fight of the night.

Please don't blatantly lie to make a point. Fedor's record is 31-1 (1) so no you have not seen him lose "more than once."
He lost at the King of Kings 2000 Block B to Tsuyoshi Kohsaka because of an illegal elbow which caused Fedor to be stopped by a doctor (for bleeding). Look on wikipedia you retard he fought and won against arona on the same exact day. He could not continue to fight that night (the whole tournament was one day long) because of the doctor stoppage, so he lost.

There good opponents but not great! Seriously with the exception of Dan Henderson, and maybe Rich Franklin, who's considered so great in the middleweight division?

How is a round 2 knockout a close fight? Fedor was never in trouble, the most damage Brett did was land three strikes from the guard before Fedor nearly got an armbar. Fedor controlled the pace of the fight until he knocked him out as well.

Fedor is two weight classes above A Silva but as far as actual weight goes, Anderson Silva walks around (according to himself) at 215-220lb. Fedor walks around at 227.
Their walking weights are very similar the difference is Fedor doesn't cut forty pounds to fight at middleweight and Silva does.

Considering how fast he lost the weight hed probably lose a little power and stamina but he would be a very dominant light heavyweight. If he were fighting in the UFC and the probability of him getting a title shot meant doing this he would probably be a LHW about now.

GSP is a legend and i would love to see him against anderson, but i dont think he would man handle anderson. The spida's ground game is very very good these days thanks to minotauro,eg the travis lutter fight. But either way i would pay to see two great champions like them fight, but i would bet on anderson to win.

I think people would be suprised how GSP would be able to man-handle Silva. GSP would not have to cut much weight at 185. Anderson would still have to cut weight, after seeing the beating GSP put on Fitch and Koz I doubt he would have a lot of trouble with Silva on the ground. IMO!

It would be a great fight but I would def not say GSP will "manhandle" Silva. IMO Silva wins the fight based on supreme striking and a ridiculous all around game. Until Silva loses to a fighter in the UFC like Matt Serra, or anyone for that matter, Silva is the favorite in this fight. People just don't understand how great this guy is.

Im not too sure what you mean my GSP having to cut weight, he fights at 170 so he would actually need to gain 15 lbs to fight at Silva's minimum, Silva also fights at 205. Too big and rangey for GSP I would think. K flo and Fitch are both great fighters but lighter and much more easy to deal with than Anderson Silva.

I am suprised at myself that I am getting into this, but here we go. I am not sure if you understand, but almost all top MMA fighters cut quite a bit of weight. I would bet you all the tea in China that GSP walks around at well more than 185. I am not sure where Florian comes into this, but as far as wrestling, I think you would be really suprised how well Fitch would deal with Anderson Silva, and GSP owned Fitch on the ground.

Firstly my bad on the brain fart, that was BJ who beat Florian, yes I know world of difference but its been a heavy afternoon if you know what I mean. On to weight cutting, yes I know GSP walks around on about 205+ but that is not fighting weight. GSP picked the 170 division for good reason, because thats where he can use his natural strength to dominate people. It wouldnt be the same against Silva he would have nowhere near the same conditioning after shedding just 15 lb.
