  • Beautiful !

  • bellisimo

  • Why is Bocelli so wonderful? Someone please explain it to me...

  • Beaucoup plus nuancé et intérieur que l'autre interprétation de Bocelli trouvée sur Youtube. Ici, on se sent porté par les anges. Merci Bocelli!

  • If I could listen to only one tenor, I would choose Andrea. The tonality of his voice is golden ... the only word I can think of. His CD of Sacred Arias is superb.

  • i love this song, and im doing the duet, but i think that he sings this a bit slowly. other than that he does a great job

  • Ce morceau est executé magistralement

tant par le ténor que par le chef d'orchestre. Il me remplit toujours d'une

    grande émotion esthétique et religieuse.

  • Amazing. Words are inadequate.

  • Gosh

When Bocelli sings he is surrounded by angels.

Thanks to the Lord we have an artist like this to sing for us.

    Thanks, Andrrea

  • This isn't a singer...it's a star! The vocal/ orchestral relationship changes to suit their eccentricities! A star has authorship : that's why they lead...it's also what made them a star!!!!!!!

  • organman52: All good performers will bend the song to fit them, if they choose to. It is up to the musicians to follow the vocalist. Not the other way around.

    Wonderful voice!

  • I disagree. I think 'good' performers should bend TO the music, not the other way around. I also believe that the vocalist should COLLABORATE with the orchestra/piano/others, not take the lead and be followed by everyone else. Music for more than one person is called ensemble music for a reason - it is to be performed together and interactively.

  • I guess, as always, it is a matter of opinion. However, the conductor is directing the orchestra, not the singer. If everybody was simply following the score, why would the orchestra even need a conductor? When I perform with an ensemble or even just a pianist, they always tell me that they will follow my lead. Naturally, if I am singing in a chorus, I follow the conductor. If not, chaos would ensue! :)

  • The whole purpose...of a soloist...is to have that person be set apart from the orchestra to accent their part in the piece of music. Normally everyone does perform together and interact.

  • Bocelli the best for sacred arias, he touches my soul singing this kind of songs

  • The very first note [Bocelli] reveals a serious problem - swooping up to it. Why can't he just sing the opening C sharp? And then, typically for singers, he ignores the rests - releasing whenever he feels like it - in time to reenter. I give up.

  • I think that's an Italian thing?

  • Probably so - you hit the nail right on the head.

  • I play piano and this is one of my favourite tunes ! if you want txt me or e. mail me Jules the angel

  • Andrea Bocelli has an awesome voice, a God's gift not only for him, but for all of us that have the privilege to listen to him.

His voice touches the very core of one's soul.

    Thanks, Andrea

  • A # 1......superb !!

  • Like an angel ...Andrea Bocelli is marvellous.

  • Well I am Lutheran and I love this piece of music too, and when Jung Myung Hoon conducts, it is guaranteed to be beautiful.

Divine music like this rises above the differences in religion and stands on its own. IMO, some of the music found in Catholic masses and its liturgy is some of the most beautiful music ever.

  • Hermosísimo sin palabras!

  • Preciosa interpretación...Andrea Bocelli es lo máximo!!

  • C'est magnifique, It's magnificient, E magnific, Csodalatos : )

  • I'm Jewish and I still like it when I hear Andrea Bocelli sing this song.

  • "I'm Jewish and I still like it when I hear Andrea Bocelli sing this song." Same here. Great music transcends all faiths. Make a joyful noise!
