Been there, done that and I will always miss my second home State, MICHIGAN!....Toronto was always exciting for a short visit via the 401, but returning home to this beautiful State has always and will remain my favorite of all the 50 States and shall forever hold a special place in my heart! This commercial may not have the celeb appearances of Vancouver's "You Gotta Be Here" or the "Visit California" tourism ads, but something about it resonated with me more. I don't know if it's the beautiful music or Buzz Lightyear/Tim "The Toolman" Taylor's reassuring voice, but it makes me think long after it has ended. Between this and the Chrysler ad with John Varvatos maybe I will visit Michigan. Fyi, if anyone's wondering, the music is Rachel Portman's theme to Cider House Rules.

@Astroboy1070 believe it or not, there are some people that dont like michigan. Not sure if they never got out of the city, or maybe just arent nature people. The downsides to michigan are, good jobs are gone, business taxes are high, and well, i dont like the snow, but only if i have to drive in it lol. If i could just chill out in a cabin in the woods for the winter, i would love the snow. Its very peaceful. spring summer and fall are all fabulous though!

@deborahjean69: I would like to point out that it's only the area of the inner city (not Downtown) and not the metro area that's bad. A lot of Detroits really nice neighborhoods get bad press unfairly too because of some of the poor ones, when not all of Detroit is bad.

Man I miss living in Michigan. Born and raised there. Moved to Arizona 9 years ago. Really hated the cold and winters. Now im actually missing that too lol. Not missing driving in it though. I do miss being out in the woods, fishing, the trees omg the trees and grass lol. Living in the desert is totally different. The ground is so hard out here you need a pick ax. Michigan is just so much simpler lol. Although the people in Arizona arent as predjudice as back home.
