HI,I have 2 palettes of COASTAL SCENTS the one with 88 colours shimmer and the 88 colours matt. I bought it online on the COASTAL SCENTS and they are still in the packaging in which i got them. I realized i had ordered just the ones i already had. The customs stopped the package and i had to pay 25€ to get it. although this i'm selling the for a very good price. If you are interested in them, ii would be better for you to take them directly from Europe instead ordering them from the USA.Bye

I love this palette but something that all should know is that the colors are pigmented but in a soft way. Almost like working with really good water colors. If anyones ever used water colors as a medium for painting than you would know that they become richer and more intense as you layer them. These eyeshadows blend really well. Great product but just know what your getting into - these are for a softer boldness but can be pumped up for something more intense.

first of all I wanted to say I just ordered the 88 palette from CS because of the reviews it was given, and I don't really wanna spend the money at MAC,

okay so today in my cosmotology class we had a makeup company come in and do a makeup application session with us and they were also selling their products and they had a pallete just like the costal scents one you use in you other videos (the one with a bunch of colours) and it only cost 28 dollars CND including taxes and all their other makeup was like 3 bucks , i thought of you when i saw it all

this palette looks promising. i'm starting to love mattes now. i have the 88 matte palette but they're is so much fall out it makes me crazy. it makes me not want to buy from coastal scents anymore. but those colors are amazing. love them for travelling if you want to bring a bright palette for summer vacations. that purple does look like the MUFE 92 and violet trance from MAC.

This palette is the same as the 88 just larger sizes and different shades. You might want to skip this if you experience a lot of fall out. Perhaps trying tie buff and tap onto a plastic lid before applying onto the eyelid?

ahh i think i might skip this one although its great for those who don't have the 88 palette. i do tap the shadows and use a good sticky base but i guess it still has fall out. its not intolerable but more annoying than anything else. i still go gaga for my matte squared shadows.

I've noticed that a couple of other gurus have also just received "care" packages from Coastal Scents. I too share a concern that the gurus are representing these companies in a manner that perhaps is going to compromise the value of an unbiased review of product. I would prefer that it be said at the start of the review if companies have sent them products to review and I can then choose to watch or not.

If it was me looking at swatches and reviews online I also look at the quality of the product itself. Most of the time the video and the way the product translates to the skin is all I need to decide. And what the person has to say is an added bonus.  :)

Thank for responding :). I hear you, however it takes away from a review in that the guru hasn't paid for the items, which is an important factor for those of us who have to be budget concious. Quality, durability and price. And if the guru feels ok about accepting these gifts, and then does a tutorial on them without having actually used the product, why not just say that? That said, I do enjoy your videos generally :)

I think different gurus handle things differently. For me regardless of a free or purchased product I will review them the same. $20 isn't going to buy my vote on a product. I have been doing reviews over 3 years and a sample of a product won't sway me to like it. I have built a strong relationship with my viewers and won't jeopardize that for $20 and I hope its the same for others. I would just use my best judgment and even look at all reviews on and off yt before deciding:)Thx for the support
