i can explain how he made it spin as the south magnet pushes against another south magnet it causes them to push away from each other making them spin now the south magnets r pushing against each other and north magnets r pushing together

Basically, in lamens terms, S doesn't like S, so it pushes each other out of the way. They are in a circle, which causes it to go on and on, so it keeps repelling to make a spin.
