Greatest Players to ever grace the Field. hands down.. Jonah Lomu and Christian Cullen. feared throughout the world, unbelievable talent. Great athletes. i'd say the next great player, if he'd stayed off the kava, was Rupeni Caucau....... man, what a sight he was... Shane Williams... ugh, debatable. speed to boot... but that was about it. given the space he could make magic. Lomu and Cullen.. made their own space. no arguement.

Cullen, Serge, JPR, Irvine all awesome...., Joubert and Hastings were similar, very tidy, big and effective, but can't do what Cully can. John Gallagher was a classic fullback in his time too.

Look at Cullen when he hits the 22m line. His ability to swerve/step left and right while at full pace is amazing. He makes the defender look retarded/ One of the reasons why he was so good. Definitely the best NZ fullback ever.
