Quite a voice, quite a tune, and quite a band! When somebody invents reliable time travel I'm going to a concert! Until then, recordings will have to do.
Don't forget that Sandy also toured in Australia to record as a guest on Fairport Live in 1974. Apart from the joy of hearing Sandy there is an astounding version of Sloth with Jerry D and Swarb swapping lines like there's no future (even if I still prefer the Full House version with RT)
not quite. there were two that featured her after this: Rosie, where she was a backing singer (with Linda Thompson); and then Rising For The Moon, where she was a member of the band again ... but only for that album.
Make that three: the excellent live album "Fairport Live Convention" recorded just before "Rising for the Moon" with the same lineup. It was released as "A Moveable Feast" in the US.
Actually, yeh ... I'd forgotten about that one ...came between Nine and Rising ... I have that album but I'm not keen on it; For some reason I tend to think in terms of studio albums ... But yet - there is that one too ....
hmm ... for me, too rough and read and album; but that's live albums from that time someone mentioned Sloth - per this line-up -and ... i'm tempted to see that as my highlight from that album....
stunning, magical, frightening

not quite. there were two that featured her after this: Rosie, where she was a backing singer (with Linda Thompson); and then Rising For The Moon, where she was a member of the band again ... but only for that album.

Sandy's great on it, though. She really wails on "Down in the Flood."
