I think the genome is like a computer program. I think bodies go through stages. So even muscle regen doesnt stop skull development. What we need to understand is what increments the program. Perhaps a few proteins start, they trigger the next set/stage of proteins (which inhibit the previous stage proteins), etc. what say you?
