Agreed. The lyrics on their own are exceptional, but add in the music and that voice...and you have a one of a kind experience. Matthew Good is possibly the most cost efficient form of therapy on the planet.
I've never really listened to MG much until I heard "Weapon" on Flashpoint. I've been hooked on him since then. He seems to pull pages outta my own heart that I can't express. Damn - this song hits home big time. I need a smoke and bottle now. Thanks for the songs, Emily

I listened to Matt Good's Running for Home off his Beautiful Midnight while my dad died of his cancer in 2000. It will always remind me of dad.
