Nice work. At 1.30 you go back and forth with the flame, doesn't this stress the glass? Maybe better to put flame at larger distance and slowly come closer.
@Gta2CubanPete Thanks. This is just to heat the glass up - the flame is actually quite cool, combined with the rotation of the glass and sideways movement of the flame, it's pretty gentle. It is always a little bit tricky heating up a bit of soft glass for the first time, and I did manage to crack one this way! Just go at it very gently.
@DerecJurisDoctor Hi, I've read that it can be, although the copper tube needs to be a different shape, with a parallel feather edge instead of a tapered edge. Didn't the original Housekeeper seal design go over the edge itself?

@irfp460 Thanks. Yes, it did, but some variations just have the glass on the outside - probably not as strong, but a bit easier to make.
