Brenda, this was a beautiful video. My last name is Mucha, and my dad has always told me we were realated to Alphonse. I am having so many problems with finding info about the family history. My sister tried once when she went there, but had no luck. I have so many of his posters hanging on my walls. I also have the 4 seasons on mirror, but I am missing Spring. I've checked ebay with no luck. Again, thank you for the beautiful video.

Thanks, we keep trying. When I saw the painting of his wife, it was like looking at my sister Joanne. Also, he did a Figures Decoratives 1905 sketch of a young girl who I am pretty sure is his daughter. I put my daughter Lisa's picture next to it and was shocked that they looked exactly alike. There is no doubt in my mind that we are realted, I just need to get it on paper.

This is wonderful. <3 You know, for years in my lil' head, I had always crossed the definitions and thought that Art Nouveau was the same as Art Deco, of which I am not much of a fan. Also loving the work of Mucha, but never knowing the name, I feel like I'm discovering so many of my loves are actually tied to Art Nouveau and I had no idea! It's like coming home. Thanks for the video!

Yep, that's Vocalise from Rachmaninov, originaly a song for piano and soprano, with several arrangements great choice (maybe unintendet)for it comprises both the slavic nature and the time period of the great artists. Good stuff:)
