  • (Also, I * very strongly* suspect that it starts at 40% (or 0%) due to the fact that it is voltage regulated, and honestly, anything less than 40, we are risking the fan stalling. I imagine 40% is pretty slow anyways. Thanks to YOU(hehe), I am getting SO impatient to receive my unit ;-) )

  • Great Video! :)

  • ITS FAN-TASTIC!

  • @Thecrowtube Heh

  • How do you install it though ):

  • @xquailx801

Just insert in into your drive bay and install two screws or so.

  • great vid! I was wondering does all the power for the fans go through the controller and not the motherboard?

  • @ImaginaryGuns

I think it does. That is why some people have problems when they use unusually high drawing fans. I havent had a problem with anything though.

  • @whydoyouhateonme

You could put them there. It would have to actually be on one of the gpus to get the most accurate reading of the gpu temp though.

  • thanks for this.

if you could, let me know where you taped the sensors.

    on heatsinks? or...

  • @chinezekid1

I got this mainly just for looks. I just have the sensors right behind the fan controller and all of the fans on 100%

  • @Evanator22742

    oh.

i'm installing mine as we speak and i dunno if i can just slap em on anywhere or if they will met or something. i was planning on putting 2 on my hard drives, one on cpu, one on gpu, and one on the north bridge chip or something...

  • @chinezekid1

Thats where I had them originally and they were fine. I took them off to get rid of the wires going through my case.

  • @Evanator22742 cool, thanks for the help mate. i put one on my gpu, 2 on hdd's, one on NB, and one just loose for air measurement.

also, i dunno if you found this out by now, but you can change all the fans at once by clicking the fan picture to the one after 5, the click the word speed. you can now adjust them all at once.

  • @chinezekid1

Yeah, I found that out right after making the video but didnt feel like redoing it. ha

  • how do you like this controller? I have wanted this so bad but since ive seen reviews on how they catch fire.Ive been rethinking it. I think it would be good for my cooler master elite, coolermaster n520 cooler and 2-120mm fans

  • @potsie129

It works fine for me. I saw those reviews also. I think that just hooked up a fan to it that required too much current. I doubt they really caught fire. The wires probably just smoked, but that is still really serious. I havent had any problems.

  • @Evanator22742

how much voltage can the controller handle?

  • @PiranhasaurusRex

You use one molex for power and it can handle 10watts per fan channel.

  • @Evanator22742 awesome, thanks man

  • No problem

  • That's boss

  • @GuitarCaliburx

    Thanks

  • You deserve more views..

Sadly, most of my subscribers are "dead," as in they dont watch the videos any more. Whether they just dont use the accounts any more or dont click my videos, it is fine with me. There are still some people that enjoy them. Thanks for the support.

  • @Evanator22742 Thanks for the video! I just picked this up today and it's nice to understand it a bit more before I install it. Subbed!

  • @TheStrossus

Im glad this helped you out.
