@gingerxguitarist Cuz it's not a Strat? It's not even a Fender, lol. It's an Ibanez. I got a new guitar though. An Ibanez as well and it's freakin amazing. It has EMG pick ups, a string stopper, and the thingy on top to make the strings lower to the neck, plus an awesome whammy bar. I'm thinking of putting up a Killswitch cover soon.

ok well i was doing the chorus in 16th notes so in the song it's like:

1 e & a 2 e & a 3 e & a 4 e & a

then it repeats.

each "1" "2" "3" "4" and "&" are down

each "e" and "a" are up

the way i did it, it's still the same except the "4" and "e" are both up. then it continues back to the regular pattern.

does that help/make sense?

first: you need a guitar. i recomend a beginner's starter pack. it comes with the guitar, amp, books, a case, and more.

second: you can buy books (if you dont get the starter pack) or take lessons to learn the basics or if you just want to learn more for someone face to face.

thrid: practice, practice, practice.

i never did any of those. my parents just bought my a guitar and amp and i tought myself everything.
