without psu, space for 2to3 2.5in hdd with or without a drive bay

i have the ionitx-a (330+wifi+90w alu) and the realtek soundcard lagggggs like hell, but its a good card, but u must have gpu-accelerated players cuz the 330 is too weak.

and when i overclock it it doesnt boot and i must reset the bios with the jumpers.

yeah i guess Nicole got it wrong, it comes with the Atom 330 and with the Ion Chipset (of course we can discuss wether the cpu or the chipset defines a platform.). I am sure you know that cause you seem to be into tech, right? :) She just mixed it up, no big deal!

minimum wage doesn't matter cause 90% of the global netbook components are getting produced in China anyways. That's why they are so cheap.

well u see the chipset is a 9400 there are many 9400 motherboards out there that arnt called ion motherboards and also like the air mac made which has a 9400

the reason that nvidia named those small htpc motherboard ion is because the combination of a 9400 and the atom processors

and in terms of marketing if some one said i want a ion netbook u would quickly know what this person wants

the gpu is based on the 9400 but of course the chipset is called Ion, which is a little bit more complex then just a gpu :)

It has nothing to do with the Atom at all cause you can also get it in combination with the VIA Nano processor.

i find it cheaper if the main companies are chines and are selling it within china

especially those asian laptops that u dont hear about which are very cheap

or should i wait for a zii netbook since the chip is 8 gigaflops
