I think if a second oppertunity is provided to the warlords and those corrupted ones, than for sure the US including NATO will surely fail in a large way. The fresh govt. has to be a 100% clean made from clean people. The warlords should be sent to Hauge, the corrupted ones should be put to prisons and should be forced to pay back the lotted money.

No, "Fair & Clean" eletions are not possible, 16 provinces are in the state of war, many districts are like a war zone, No chance for any sorts of election, as Ajmal Khan said "Loya Jirga" a Loya Jirga which should be and will be free of criminals and warlords and people who has committed crimes against humanity. Afghanistan is a complex situation, war in hands, refugee problems, unemployment, lack of infrustructure and the stablity is totaly disrupted throught these long empty 7 years. The hopes of the Afghan Nation faded away when the International community couldn't delievered what initialy felt by the Afghan Nation. It is a critical situation and needs a radical move and change. Majority Afghans would favour fair & clean elections, but would that "Fair & Clean" election would be possible?.......

The current players in the Afghan Political arena have proven to be just a great failuer. They have played the same game (Switching Sides) over and over, they gets paid big money from all over, I think the International community now needs to realise what have they done and what kind of monsters they have created with their own money and backing. It is time to give the chance to a young leadership, fresh blood, fresh thinking and full with dedication and energy. We all support Ajmal Khan.

Mr.Shames,As he is too high and too clean for kids to dig dirt on,so learn first manner.If you are a good muslim which I doubt,but I still mention here as Im sure many good muslims must be reading these comments, the story of Yousuf(AS)when he went to prison,the story is in the Quraan Kareem, he was also implicated falsely in a case which he never intended to do, but when he was released Allah(ST)awarded him with the highest position in the govt of that time.

Mr. shames,Im agree with Zadrankhell,All great Leaders & Politicians goes to prison, if you are unaware,Ghandi,Neslson Mandela, Nawaz Sharief,Bhutoo and present Pakistani president Asif Ali Zardari all been to prison once or twice in their life time on one name or another. Once a Pakistani well known politician Sheikh Rashid Ahmad said Prison is like the father house for politicians

Mr.Shame:It is unfair what you have stated here in regard to Chief Ajmal Khan Zazai. I can not sit quite and let people like you who has no manners and morals to take upon a man who stood up for his people and country as a real man in front of all the odds to bring a positive change to his country, the very one which you, like you and your fathers sold to others. Chief Ajmal Khan Zazai is a man of vision, a man who fought hard and is fighting very hard for Afghanistan and his unfortunate people.
