Well all i can say is good work on my favorite song, It is just one of those songs that grab you and you done it a good justice, I am working on it myself but i am no singer, But well done that has to be the best version i have heard since Tom Petty.

You should dig into his first couple of albums, theres lots of songs that werent hits, that most people probably havent even heard (unless they are a fan), that havent been covered, as far as I know anyway. Theres a full discgraphy on his website.
Good idea! I have been a Petty fan for a long time and this was an odd choice of song for me with all those great older tunes. This song just caught my attention and I thought it worked well with my voice. I will try some older tunes but his voice goes much higher than mine:) Thanks!

I love the song but I wish you kept it a little bit more mellow, like the lyrics would suggest the song should be played.

@4rch3nemy yes, i tend to play songs at a faster pace than the original. It just felt natural at that pace and I made it my own

Yer banging it out too fast. Don't rush your strumming. It's a triplet and that high up you can let your estring ring for a while.
