3 things you must remember when you want to grip easily.

1. don't join a laggy room especially those with 100+ms.

2. your enemy must not be moving and must be standing still.( well... sorta...)

Okay, Heres some advice. Find the right timing to grip, for example, when someone tries to grip you, but they do the invisible attack, then grip. Or when mages ice you, but they miss. If this is too confusing for you then I don't know what to say. Lmao.

Not a bug...that was a while back when mage was able to do that, now Softnyx changed the front grip to do continuous damage but mage can't get a hit from anywhere far away. Problem with the continuous hits from front grip is that it may sometimes bug up with any hits that come after (i.e. ice stack misses when it should have worked or just trying to jump attack at point zero) this also applies to attacks from other players

ok....at first is a bit hard. It's best to be near him(like touching him) from back or front. Next is good if he has just done invincible, or at mage ice, because you will see that he has a coldown(he moves for a sec or 2 very slow, staying in place, and can't attack). Once you learn when his colldown is big, or when you can attack, is very easy to do grip. In fact all chars have colldown at all kinds of attacks...you can do grip in many ways, but this is the easy'est way for beginers good luck!
