  • So I called the number and they want to send me a text message. Oh boy I hope they send me a new Xeye!!!

  • I want to be as cool as that kid. Better get an X'eye...

  • there was a commercial for this ? o_O

  • I still have mine, I bought a new one around 1995 when they were marked down to $99 I believe, then I sold my Sega Genesis and Sega CD! The X'eye was much better than the 2 piece deal, of course I added the 32X to it, which wasn't officially supported to work with the X'eye, but it does.

  • man...I never managed to win at Prize fighter, My sister loved the karaoke CD, I kinda liked the encyclopedia BUT I DAMN LOVED PLAYING GENESIS GAMES ON IT :D I will never sell this thing!

  • A buddy of mine had one waaay back in the day. We played this zombie shooting game all the time lol. Man that game sucked, but you know as kids you'll play anything.

  • yea ill call to get one! as soon as im done having a seizure!! whoo hoo!!

  • who wants to buy mine? i got everything advertised in this commercial and i still have the original box.

  • @THEoriginalRIcHARDS how much you sellin for?

  • @THEoriginalRIcHARDS how much you sellin for?

  • @cowboyscowboys make me an offer

  • @THEoriginalRIcHARDS 60+ shipping

  • @cowboyscowboys i bought it for $160 back in 1995. i thought these went up in value.

  • @THEoriginalRIcHARDS 160$ I thought they where like $500back in 95. If you seriously want to sell it just list it on Ebay.

  • His Mom's ugly. I've been wanting one of thesefor a while. I'll get it eventually.

  • Ahh, the wonders of '90s advertising. No wonder no one ever had seizures while playing the games: They weeded those kids out in through the commercials.

  • "cd's"??? Seriously??? The plural of "cd" is "cds". No apostrophe. How did a production company allow that??? Anyway, nice bit of gaming history, regardless.

  • @DudeDie222 you are too stupid for words

  • I still play my X'Eye!!! It's Awesome!

  • Someone should call that number and see if they're still around...clearly not but they should be informed they should be selling that thing still

  • I saw one at a flea market many years ago. Should have picked it up

  • how is it that other compinieis made sega systems did sega say this was ok?

  • Yes, it was a joint effort from both Sega and JVC, it was to provide better sound as well, as JVC was supposed to be good at audio then.

  • Because JVC was SEGA's OEM for the Mega CD/SEGA CD project. The deal gave JVC the rights to sell thier own Mega Drive/CD combo as a 2nd party system.

  • how do i put the ' on my phone

    curse you jvc

  • @ShadicChao lmao, you're right XD

  • Wow, it's a shame this thing didn't catch on. :(

  • Never really heard of the JVC X-Eye

  • This is the one with the coveted S-Video output?

  • The X'Eye does not have an s-video output.

However, the Japanese version of the X'Eye, the Wondermega 2, does come with an s-video output.

  • I still have my X'eye. I had a Genesis, Sega CD, 32x combo...what a mess of wires. I picked up the X'eye at a EB for $100 just to clear the clutter a little bit. I remember trying to hook my 32x up to it. I got it to work but you couldn't pop the CD tray without unplugging the 32x. That was a hassle so I just sold off my 32x.I heard the Japanese model of the X'eye had s-video out...that would be nice.

  • I was one of the few people that owned a "JVC X' Eye/ Wondermega. Sigh* My baby sister poured water into the disc drive so it broke. I miss this thing.

  • @Tornado1994 dude i would hate her for the rest of my life :)

  • @devuurheer

I don't because she was only a baby at the time. You can't hate a 1 year old.

  • It almost seems like a kind of brainwashing/subliminal-messages filled commercial...cool system but doesn't do the same as the SEGA CDX?

  • I have one but I'm missing power cords

  • give you 100$ for it

  • I got one boxed with everything it came with, working, offrer me ericaesop

  • 300$. i need to get the $ tho so ill add you and we can discuss it further.

  • i got one too however i like the multimega much more

  • encyclopedia? huh i got one of these! i love it half to death

  • i actually have one of these

  • I had forgotten about this thing.

  • I just got my X'Eye today. It rocks.

  • umm i want an xeye!!!

  • buy mine:)

  • How much anyways for it?

  • wow i didnt know they had a commercial. Yes you can play 32x on this thing... Karaoke too! lol I got mine for cheap on ebay some years back. I like this thing allot. I still play it.

  • lol awesome =P

    Never heard of this

  • From what i remember you can , i have both , and if i recall correctly , i did use the 32x with the xeye , i could be wrong though , could be a false memory :) . JV

  • Probably banned because of all the flashing light.

  • i wonder if you would be able to install the 32x into the x'eye and play 32x games there?

  • anybony want to respond???

  • The X'Eye will not work with the 32x add on. I've tried it. It's still a fun system, it playes Genesis, Sega CD, Music CD (and CD-R)all with improved sterio sound and resolution.

I still have mine hooked up nex to my Wii and PS2.

  • aw. thanks for the info, though

  • I just tried my 32X on mine and it works fine. You're probably doing something wrong.

  • You're probably right. I rented the 32X like 10 years ago, back when I was still 11 years old. I wasn't the best at doing that stuff.

If I find another 32X (which I REALLY want to do) I'll try it again. Thanks.
