  • nice job!!!!!

  • What do you meen Americans only lost 71, they lost 314!

The British were the most brave soldiers in those times.

  • It means they were butt -raped my fellow american and thanks to them you are free.

  • lol -the gator lost its mind-

  • Awesome animation, i like the gatr part. i live in fl and if i saw a g8r do that i'd

    @#$% myself.

  • The best video of Lego I see ever :)

  • LOL this is good.

  • 2:28-2:34-LOVE IT!!

  • Battle of New Orleans was another british disaster that has continued to Isandlwana 1879, Dunkirk 1940 and Singapore 1942

  • Little Big Horn, Omaha Beach, Vietnam.

  • How many Americans bases are there in britain ? Lakenheath,Molesworth, etc, quite allot. Protecting your country is a true loss.

  • The americans lost 8 and british lost 2,000

  • You would think they would have learned about their antiquated fighting tactics after we mowed them down in the Revolution. Big difference between bravery and stupidity.

  • Incredible video, 5*

  • This battle and the battle of Bunker hill shows the bravery of british regulars in this period. Many European armies would have broken long before, under such a heavy amount of fire, especially at point blank range.

But the british lines never broke, and they kept pushing forward.

  • God save the King

  • agree - USA vs. Britain was irresistable force versus immovable objects

  • "But the British lines never broke, and they kept pushing forward"

Yeah, right. The Titanic is sinking, and you're worried about the deck chairs being properly arrainged.

  • I agree I love the Titanic and a my great aunt was on it. So, I care about Titanic

  • Did she survive?

  • Bravery doesn't win wars, apparently.

  • apparently it does we won out numbered

  • The British didn't win...? Read the comment I replied to first, before you open your mouth.

  • hella cool

  • good! nice song too.

  • that was great!!!!!!!

  • i think it was geinus it was perfact!!

  • that was great! loved it!

  • As a Brit i think its very good.

  • As a New Orlean-ite, I think it is best.

  • one of the best lego music videos ever

  • i love it

  • I'm not sure where the elephants and dragons come in historically, but hey, I like em anyway.

  • that's gotta show the world someday you dont mess with america without expecting us to fight back

  • that was a video I don't know where you got the idea for legos but it I like the gator part.

  • My boys love this video! Does anyone know where I can buy the tall marching band hats at 1:55. I have searched all over the internet and cannot find them.

  • Well, Lego company has made new pirate sets that you cannot find on there website yet but they are out at almost every Toys R Us the set that you might want to get to make a replica is a set that comes with one red soldier with the hat a pistol a rifle and a couple others I hope I helped

  • The site has them now, they are quite similar as shown here only you might have to buy more same sets of you want to make a replica of this :D , also you get nice canons there :D

  • Old Hickory was a name given to General Andrew Jackson, cause he was as hard as a hickory stick in battle. I am from Loisiana i just was taught this and i belive it. There was a cartoon of him it was verry funny.

  • well, later he was known as stonewall jackson and thats how i know him

  • Thomas Jonathan Jackson was 'Stonewall' Jackson, not Andrew Jackson

  • I had to sing this song in a 5th grade school program. this song brings back memories

  • completeley wrong bricklord. What do you call WWI?

  • And WWII if you count the French Underground as "the French".

  • And the Italians if count stab in the back nation.

    lol

  • did you know the french have never fought a war in the past 200years that they won?

  • asome an

  • i c y u like it from ur name =)

  • not that i dont like the americans, i think your a good bunch of guys, good friends, and as for the french.. lol there just cowards, just let the germans roll in to their country? us Brits and americans wouldnt allow that, or we'd fight to the last man

  • kk yate chill out its over now.... calm down hav sum Dr. pepper! =)

  • You know that the Champs Elysees has trees planted there so that the Germans can march in the shade! lol Even the French do not like each other!

  • LOL

  • HMMM? tell the rest of the story where we burned washington down and had you all on your knees

  • Then sent your asses back to your homeland.

  • whatever

  • well all in all its not bad stop motion animation its been a while since iv seen anything like that

  • cbarnett7

"If it wasn't for us, who would've stopped Germany? Vietnam?"

First of all, it was basically impossible for the USA to reach the front lines in Europe, God knows they won't bother. And Vietnam? What the hell? I'm pretty sure Vietnam played no part in World War II.

"The French withdrew when we showed up"

Any man with common sense would withdraw from a war with heavy casualties. It's a resistance, for God's sake, not an army. Would it actually stand its ground against Germans?

  • Er, I mean equipped not "equipping."

  • best stop motion ever seen 5/5

  • hitophotahdishaishittittonopew type this in and laugh

  • Pure Genius, but who were the French fighting ?and who won ?

  • who is old hickory?

  • That was the nickname given to Andrew Jackson when he later became the U.S. President.

  • legoman, maybe you should go to school before you start saying stupid stuff. The US has saved the French so many times. WW2 there was no French army just the French resistance. If it wasn't for us who would have stopped Germany?Vietnam? French colony and we had to save them because they were getting slaughtered. Sure we with drew from there but it wasn't are battle in the first place. The French withdrew when we showed up. Your still sore that the UK are not a Superior army and cant win w/o us

  • how did u make the soilders

  • GO U.S.A.!!!!!!!

  • sinner we practically saved you in WWII! The Blitz was at your doorstep! Without our supplies you would of been overran!

  • sinnersoul the war was over by the time this happened. We kicked the british's arses back to UK.

  • My AP us teacher showed us this in class :)

  • it is the best i get how u got so many soilders matchen

  • this rocks

  • My god the effort that's gone into this film clip bloody brillant

  • Only battle you yanks have managed to triumph over.

  • Well, when you consider that the U.S. was not even 40 years old yet, and all we had were "ragtag" forces, and you "limeys" were such a world power, and you never messed with us again after this, I'd say we done quite well.

  • Ironically, the Americans lost the financial war with the debt based central banking system being installed in America. The founding fathers warned us of this.

  • Lets see the revolutionary war, 1812 was a loss in fact new Orleans was the final American bastion. Uh if not for the American involvement in ww1 the new German forces from the eastern front would have pushed you to the coast. Let's not forget ww2 and the gulf war

  • exactly what i thought sinner. The americans were always late for battles, not to mention the french saved their asses in ww2

  • Legoman554, is your head stuck so far up your ass, that you can actually peek out through your belly button?

  • LMAO! What French? It is documented fact that France was invaded and defeated in the Battle of France in 1940 so therefore making null an official French army. I seriously doubt baguette waving civilians saved the American soldiers equipping with Garands and Thompsons.

  • Brilliant!!!

  • this guys is a utter genious

  • were do u get those type of lego soliders

  • LOL at 1:23!

  • cool film

  • this is so awesome

  • haha my teacher did 2

  • ahaahha my teacher made us watch this in class one day.

  • perfect

  • very well done. 10/10

  • ok so more thn 3

Well, the guide who brung the British from the sea

Come a-limping into camp just as sick as he could be,

He said the dying words of Colonel Packenham

Was, "You better quit your foolin' with your cousin Uncle Sam."

Well, we'll march back home, but we'll never be content

Till we make Old Hick'ry the people's president.

And every time we think about the bacon and the beans

We'll think about the fun we had way down in New Orleans.

  • They lost their pants and their pretty shiny coats

And their tails was all a-showin' like a bunch of billy goats.

They ran down the river with their tongues a-hanging out

And they said they got a lickin', which there wasn't any doubt.

Well we marched back to town in our dirty ragged pants

    And we danced all night with the pretty girls from France;

We couldn't understand 'em, but they had the sweetest charms

And we understood 'em better when we got 'em in our arms.

  • they left out like 3 of the best versus!!!

Well, I seed Marse Jackson come a-walkin' down the street

    And a-talkin' to a pirate by the name of Jean Lafitte;

He gave Jean a drink that he brung from Tennessee,

And the pirate said he'd help us drive the British to the sea.

Well the French told Andrew, "You had better run

For Packenham's a=comin' with a bullet in his gun."

Old Hickory said he didn't give a damn

He's a-gonna whup the britches off of Colonel Packenham.

  • the dinosaurs got me

    lol

  • The Americans and the Canadians hate each other? (from Hungary)

  • they all seem so happy. lol

  • you canadians are dumb. america wanted to fight the british and the indians not you fucks. and it wasnt the canadians who burned the white house either

  • they should make a battle of culloden version :)

  • Battle of Brandywine creek?

  • Funny as hell! Great animations! I like the alligator cannon!

  • I really don't know why Americans didn't try again to invade Canada after the war of 1812.(sarcastic, I'm from Canada) But really good lego motion video.

  • It wasn't Canada itself they were interested in. Americans went there to fight the British with the expectation of denying Canada to the British.

Had the British never interfered with American shipping and trade, the War of 1812 would not have existed.

  • I really dont know why the americans didn't try again to invade canada after the war of 1812. (this sarcastic)

  • absoloutly awesome i love the song and the stop motion was amazing, also if you liked this video there is also a video on ho the canadians burned down the white house in 1812

  • actually derekyankee2, it was the british who burned the white house during 1812. Unless you mean the british occupying Canada then yes you are right.

  • Always loved this song. But this clip creative as it is, makes me realize the folly of war even more than usual. Something about the leggo seems to make it stand out more, i dont know.

  • amazing

  • Amazing! One of my all time favorite songs and the Lego action is wonderful!!! Great Job!!!

  • great animation!! only it's not from you, but thanks for putting it on youtube!!

  • Cottonbalers by God! HOOAH!

  • LMAO omg this is brilliant! Love the Legos!

  • lol it was cute....my social studies homework for tonight was to watch this haha

  • WoW!!!!!!!!!!! that was awesome!

  • this is the best lego movie i sa. whitch sets are those

  • Whcih set(s) are those :O!?

  • this is my uncles song his damn jam

  • FUNNY

  • USarcowards that is some news. by the way britan was being bombed by hitler, i would never have guessed that britan didnt need our help. i thought that when you have to wait for us fighters to arrive to stop bombing runs that is called needing help. wow, i didnt know i was so wrong ( sarcasim )

  • what?

  • Man, you can't even watch a well-made little Lego video without idiots turning the 'Comments' section into a metaphorical no-man's land.

Seriously. There are OTHER PLACES on the Internet for that.

In other news? This is a fun video, well-made, and the little Lego-dudes ferrying the 'gator to the barricade made me chuckle. Bravo to the creators and the one who posted this.

A hearty 'Fuck You, Assholes' to all who decided to bitch at each other like whiny little... well, whiny little BITCHES.

  • and stop figting about the the revoulution and world war two! it gets so annyoying lets just say we helped each other. and don't forget we were on our own in the pacific! i fit wasn't for the U.S you would have never have been born and austrailia woud be japanese!

  • legodude, we'll talk about whatever we want. If you don't like it, either don't read our comments, or complain to the video host.

  • what the hell are you guys talking about!!!! talk about the fucking vid for gods sake not about who truly invented the fricking light bulb!

  • Drop dead, you stupid son of a bitch.

  • ha! that's what I've been trying to tell a lot of people lately!

  • Thanks bob

  • Excellent work, Well Done

  • very good animation

  • nice, i really liked it

  • you people go on and on and on and on and on and on. this posting area is for posting about the video!!!!!!not fighting about what you think is what!! on the other hand great video the song makes it awesome! :)

  • from where do you have the brithish redcoats.anyway cool video

  • too cool Ilove the musiqe and te film too cool

  • booooo obama

  • You Euro history revisionists need to think about what country supplied arms, food and other material to your armies before we entered the war. Yes we did bleed England dry of gold in the process. :) But the USA supplied every allied nation during the war. As for Montgomery he was brilliant! I mean just look at the success of operation Market Garden! That said the Brits did do a good job fighting, but to say that the USA did not play a major part in winning the war is ridiculous!

  • deg169, actually, operation Market Garden was a failure.

  • Yes, I know. My post had what I call sarcasm.

  • yes but who helped the us win the war for independance against the british? france? america didnt stand a chance without france...

  • Yes the French helped as did other European countries who had an interest in giving the British a bloody nose. I don't think they did it because they believed in freedom.

  • SHTGP3, France only joined us when it was safe for them to do so. They came in after the decisive Battle at Saratoga. They joined us with the expectation of capturing some of the British held Caribbean Islands, but failed, because the war ended too soon. And Spain only sided with France with the expectation of getting Gibraltar back from England should an Anglo-Franco war break out.

The American colonists had already turned the tide in our favor when France and Spain joined us.

  • as much as i agree with u about the war in europe, the british held out under the full force of germany, but the british left the pacific before the US came in , and the small force of australians were left there. and the us claim tht they won the pacific on their own, but it was the australians the kiwis, the indians and americans. and more

  • Mugumbo101, it was the U.S. Navy that defeated the Japanese navy, and spearheaded the drive to Okinawa, just before the final knock out punch of Japan.

Churchill didn't even want to release Australian troops from the Middle East when Australia was threatened by Japan. PM Curtin requested assistance from the U.S. and got it, when Churchill wouldn't even help.

  • Uncontrollable "retreat" is that like Dunkirk?

...do you get that 10 pounds i sent to help with your sex-change operation?

..was that a British ship that the Japs surrendered on Sept.2,1945, i could not tell

...in Britain was does "Enola Gay" mean???

  • shut up!!!!!!!!!!!!!! you guys did nothing but watched.we did all the work.only if you were in germany and hitler killed you

  • well atleast the french like us more

  • And then you woke up.

  • englnd ruled half the world but they lost it all your a f***ing failer

  • These little flame wars just show how dumb some people on YouTube are. It's a song, for God's sake!

  • Well most of these posts are flames agaisnt Americans or British.

Mighty fucking fail because this song is about a battle that didnt even matter because the US already signed a treaty to end the war in s stalemate.
