The Eucharist is the body and blood of christ why would any church ever denie that to it's members? Once some one is absolved of sin they can that the Eucharist. Even if your sentence to death. You the hell are mormons to say that to their parishners? Mormons are Pagan/polytheist. Mormonism is neo-pagan Islam. a manufactured reconstruction of the New testament. No Trinity=Not Christianity. No hypostatic union= not christianity
LOL. funniest video on YouTube. Prisoners practice every faith LOL. People being someones b!tch is also a widely used "practice". Some innocent people have been falsely imprisoned as well. This guy has got to be a comedian Thumbs up for funniest video on YouTube. I thought Dane Cook was funny but this guy is 100 times funnier. A woman kills her baby and freed? Wow, she has no right to practice and redeem herself? (though she wont) Wow this is some funny sh*t.
"Tear them apart" my butt. the only reason this faggot gets any views is cus of his obnoxious stupidity. granted in the internet he who talks the most lasts longest. The blessings within an lds church are based on worthiness. if someones in prison any upstanding religion would probably deem them unworthy. it makes since will ever these people ever get lives. How much do these dumb****s get paid. I'd love to see him actually profess a belief. and not knock everyone elses.
@airsharp001 I believe these videos are created as a goof. The guy in the video is a comedian. Even if he is being serious, he is still a funny guy. All in all this guy is makes these videos for self centered attention and will never be accepted for partnership on YouTube. Either way it is a lose lose situation. The motive? To bash other people for capital gain for more money for his religion, oops I mean his car, his nice clothing, his manicure etc. That is the "logic" behind his motives.
@Katy7321 uh...and can u prove the BOM is a true historical account even THOUGH there is no archeological evidnece for 2 million isrealites living in north america...no anceint texts...and many OTHER things that debunk the BOM...?
@Katy7321 LOL...what info do u have to prove the story in the BOM is true...archeological evidence?ancient texts?scriptural support?it's OBVIOUSLY a fabricated story.COMMON SENSE and LOGIC is MY research tool.
@TheSixStringRevolver what kind of BS is this?the church telling people they cant be holy if they are in prison...that is GOD'S choice...you can be whatever you WANT to be..that isnt up to MAN to decide!!!!
Although Mormons do not claim to be part of Judaism, Mormon theology claims to situate Mormonism within the context of Judaism to an extent that goes beyond what most other Christian denominations claim.
i did not say that - i give them as what a cult is ! there are many more churchs out there that claim to be christian but are not , I am a former member of the mormon church and I stand on what i said - i was program to think like you are thinking right now . you do not pay your higher officers EH ! you better look again and see if I am not right ! you better check outside the church because they will Lie to you like they did me !
the Catholic church broke away from the christian faith and became a cult when they started to add pagan things to it , you can look this up in the history of the christian church.
@rockwaterman: If you say so. Personally, I don't think Al Franken is reliable about very much. I mean, the guy actually thinks he won that Minnesota election. That's almost as absurd as his thinking he is funny. & that's almost as absurd as his thinking he's had a successful acting career.
@rockwaterman but what about forgiveness? Prison is a man made construct. Prison has no idea what the heart of a man is. If a man is truly sorry, can his repentance not begin (or complete) until he is out of prison?
ThatJimGuy, That's my point. I don't approve of the assumption that a convict is even necessarily guilty of any true sins. Example, drugs, government setups, etc.
I certainly agree that a person repenting should be taking the sacrament. I object to the assumption that being in prison precludes that privilege.
Prison should not be a place of punishment, anyway, only a place to put those so dangerous that they must be away from others. Not many people fall into that category.
shouldn't even want to restore them, and get them to deal with their sin issue, it really gets the wheels moving in the right direction. Living here in SLC this is common for me now and I realize I have to be loving and calm. I'm passionate about the Gospel but they can see that as aggressive and won't want to hear you if they see that. So it's best to be calm and ask questions and listen, then speak again. They respect it and are eager to hear. This works with JW's too. It's the love of Jesus
AMEN TSSR. They do need the true Jesus and the True Gospel. Two of the biggest ways I get mormons to realize how false the church is and their disposition when it comes to sin are 1..The "restoration" of Temples and Priesthoods...and 2 because they take sacrament and promise to obey the 10 commandments every weekend, I ask them how many of them they've broken since last sacrament. They hate to answer it but if you can get them to see how they haven't correctly restored things or why they
@TheSixStringRevolver: But Smith was doing god's work when he had that mob destroy that printing press too. After all, the press was attacking god's prophet. Thus it was god's will to detroy that press.
The thing is, they making the reception of the sacratments dependent on the action of th state. Why assume the state's action is just? Even if the convict is technically guilty under the law, is that law just? For instance should certain drug charges be felonies? What about deals to the guilty?
I have a theory on this. Maybe it's because a prisoner doesn't get paid and if so they get paid very little so the church won't be able to really receive tithes from them. You know the LDS church is all about that.
@TheSixStringRevolver: Joe Smith was in prison too. I wonder, inciting a fanatical mob to riot, attack private property & commit arson; felony, not a felony? Oh but hey, he wasn't convicted yet. So even if God knows if we have committed a crime or not so conviction doesn't matter to him. What about the possibility of wrongful conviction, are those who have been wrongfully convicted to be denied the sacraments? I mean, who would need such consolation more? Stupid self righteousness.
Jesus was held as a prisoner by the Romans. LDS is a CROOKED cult.

Sacrament does not equal communion. Also felons can not vote as American citizens either maybe that is unAmerican?

JW

Setting aside everything else, it appears that the Church assumes that everyone in prison is actually guilty of that which he is convicted of.
