@videovader101 If I relax it is not harder than a fretted bass after some years of playing. It is when you think too much it is starting to get difficult.

Have you ever tried bass to the McCartney tune "What Do We Really Know?" from the "McGear" album? Great solo there as well (though certainly not as much 'soul' as this solo).

what effect do you use for the solo??

Its like a chorus but I dare say thats caused by the sound of the record and this bass track being ontop of one another.

I use no effect here. Just like moomoocajoo says it is the effect of mine and Jaco's slightly diferent intonation on the fretlesses:-)
