Only 1 problem with MGO: Body Mechanics. The guy drops from the ledge so you jump off to kill him and he goes back to the top.

@Cyrisik95 I agree it was fun as hell when it first came out, but because of the slow pace of the fighting it's easy to lag switch and win. I liked how the game was more strategy than your typical run and gun. And in this game no one was bitchin about the noobtube because it was so damn expensive. They need to remake this for metal gear rising and do it right.

To set up Metal Gear it takes around TEN WHOLE minutes for Konami ID set up and GAME ID, than to download, it depends when you do it. IF you chose OPTION 2 when you think no ones downloading, you get less than 1 minute of downloading, OPTION 1 I cannot tell, because I had little patience to wait on it.

That's because you don't have to. You can quick switch between weapons by tapping R2. Don't be so quick to throw around words like fail before you know all the facts.

Yeah, you have to sign up for a Konami ID to play but it is rather quick and painless now, unlike how it was in the beta. The downloading does not take a day at all, I believe that was an exaggeration. I use Peer 2 Peer with my ports open and it took under 15 mins for the big update.

It actually took me 2.5 hours to download for me, but I would've waited an entire day just to play it, Metal Gear Online is the best thing that happned to me!

usually if i have downloads that long, i just get up and do something else. those hours pass by fast if you're occupied with something so this whole "long downloading" business isn't the end of the world and besides that, there are times when servers are less crowded and you can get big downloads or updates in less than half an hour. also, if you think MGO is awesome, i think you should try COD4 if you haven't already.

@ToxicatedLum yea thats the lame review made by some idiot who dosent know the game... first of all it does not take half a day! if it does, then ur connection sucks, your using peer to peer and no one is on or its under heavy maintenance. second the 2 accounts are necessairy for the buying of expansions and also accounts for other games... its not just mgo. and btw its not 2 accounts, its 1 account plus a game id and number pass for your characters.

I really wish Metal Gear Online played more stealthily and tactically, but everyone is too busy using their M4 customs. It's the cheapest weapon in the game, and it gives you free headshots. No precision is needed. Just hold R1 and let the gun do the rest. I hate how I can't sneak around and use CQC without getting destroyed by that gun.

What's so cheap about the m4? I use it and don't get free headshots, I only get headshots when aiming at the head. The cheapest weapon is the m14ebr or whatever.

Well, it feels a little smoother now. The running speed at lvl 0 has been improved and the extra equipment to put on guns makes killing a lot nicer. That being said, there are currently a lot of new players running around so it's hard to find a decent server; however, that should work itself out soon. Also, extra maps and characters are planned for release in the near future! I love MGO!
