I don't mind the curls in my hair but it's just so thick. It's just below my shoulders but there's so much hair I don't know what to do with it, and tutorials usually don't work. Any tips? :(

@LightningRocks1 Have you tried that blow dryer that dries your hair and flattens it at the same time? You might want to do some research on that because one of my friends has such long hair and it would take her forever to dry it and THEN straighten it so she kills 2 birds with one stone doing the drying and straightening at once:)

@herrodollsherro If you look at my recent videos you will see that I have bangs that I can wear in front or part on the side---depends on the type of curly hair that you have, if its super super curly then it might not work as well but if your hair is like mine-go for it!

(Continued novel :P) I have tried having it thinned and all that did was make the top half super fluffy and the bottom half was okay but it looks ultra funky since the top wasn't good. I had this done several times by differant people, all of which were at losses. I also tried layers which also kinda did the same thing.

Is there anything you can think of that I can do? I have a couple basic ways to just pull it up and stab some pins in it to keep it controlled, but its just insane sometimes.

My problem is I have most of my volume and curl up top. I've had hairdressers of 40+ years tell me I have the thickest and frizziest curly hair they've ever seen. If you've seen those 80's afro girls, that's what my hair does naturally. It takes 2+ hours to flat iron or put big curls in, and it's too big to fit in one braid so I always have to divide into two or three. (running out of room so I'll continue on another comment)

God I'm so jealous of your hair. mine is SUPER thick. Like, not even kidding I've ahd every stylist say "This is the thickest, most difficult curly hair I've ever seen" and it's such a pain. I used to braid it on the side in two braids (Too thik for one braid) and it's ultra fine and fragile and the curls are small and loose which is what makes it lay so frizzy. I tried layering it but it just made the top HUGE and the bottom less so.....

@Coolgirl0090 I let my hair air dry at least 2-3 times a week with some products in it. Other times if I want more volume I will put heat on my hair--in this video I let it dry naturally---go to my page and look through my curly hair videos-I think they may help you!

hey i have crazy hair too that i feel to embarrassed to leave down. i usually but a curling cream or gel in my hair. not mousse. i usually use a quiff and then tie it back and i find that small hair bands (esp the ones with two bands stuck together) great for keeping down that frizz on top and making my hair look less severe.
