How to Hang a Muay Thai Heavy bag to your ceiling

As long as you keep to pushing the bag instead of hitting it you can keep it on the ceiling...otherwise...Bad for the house!!! (spring helps a bit though=cheaper repairs)

@SeregaXAPbKOB I had in hanging in there for a year with 2-3 times per week of use and it never caused any damage to anything. I moved from that house otherwise it would still be hanging in the same spot.

@salsanz13 from a hardware store. ace hardware or similar should have it. maybe even lowe's or home depot. Title boxing also sells similar springs.

hey can any one elp me im trying to hang my heavy bag in my room and the ceiling is dry wall i believe would i be able to hang it and not mess up the dry wall or am i soppose to do something else?

How Heavy is the bag? How many times a week do you use it and for how long? I'm trying to do the same thing but I'm hesitating because I don't want the sheet rock or the 2x4 to break. Any advise?

I did the same thing. You can get a shorter spring from Asian world of martial arts.com. It will take the bottom of the bag off the ground.
