The sahara Trac-loc system needs more foot into the skinny pedal. Can't necessarily nurse it as easily as lockers but, the sahara doesn't have a true "open diff" like atotally stripped down X or Sport model
Looks like a good time! The Excursion did great this past weekend on Bell Mountain and FS 283, along with some side trail (869 or something like that) that I saw. Gonna have to go hit Beasley Knob next to see what it'll do. :-)
I didn't see any mud holes there ---- it was muddy and it was steep. If you need more than that to practice your skills..... ....I mean, it is STEEP there...

Some of the hills will give you enormous problems due to your breakover angle --- you'd need 37's I'd think.
These trails favor small/light rigs that don't mind a few dings.
