And i find your comment funny too! I enter breathless states in meditation but i don't see any lights. I can understand why others might though. Holding the breath forcefully and squeezing the eyes can do all kinds of wonders for fuzzy brained people.

If this is what you call meidtation... "Holding the breath.... " then you are not even at you infant stage of meditation. If you are serious about meditation I would seriously recommend you to go to a nearby Brahma Kumaris centre and get some insight. If you are not interested then you can consider meditation practitioners as a group of Oxymorons and live in the "sour grape" world.

Soul is a trick of the brain. The brain is so advance and it can play any trick it wants. Do u think a huge tree has a soul? life of tree took that path of not having a consciousnes and human took the path of having a consciousness. the tree and us are ecquelly adapted to the nature but our intelligence make us feel as if we a somewhat better.
