  • That sure is a lot of buttons, must have been more than just talk going on...}; )

  • Nice. Some choice old relics there Jimbo well done...gotta love a 1700's site man I wish we were that old over here! Get a hair cut. :)

  • Real nice finds there , Jim, keep them coming(video's and finds), Congrats, U will find a coin in there sometime, I am sure of it, kept plugging way at it HH !

  • Dude i have a Question... Who cut your Hair Man...? nice video!!

  • nice

  • Very interesting finds!

  • Great video as usual Jim on a historical site. Well done mate, HH.

  • Nice work, man! As a Mason I can tell you nothing I saw that was anything other than commercial. Item @ 6:12 looks like a clock hand.

  • @Steelgreyeyes Very thick for a clock hand, but that would my guess too. The one I'm interested in is the round-ish one with a symbol carved in it, copper, crudely shaped (not machine stamped for sure), has square hole where square nail used to punch top hole...does it resemble any mason symbol?

  • @roadkillscjim Could not recognize anything from what was visible .... do you have a picture after item was cleaned? Be happy to check it out! PS ....... still have those star bit screwdrivers ... for hard drives.

  • Dude...there is something mystical about your damn hair

  • With all those buttons and buckles,i think you stumbled upon lovers lane.Back then the cops said"Button your pants!"LOL!

  • Thanks for sharing.. love finding buttons!

    GL and HH

  • Those poor bastard couldn't even afford good thread to keep their buttons on. Ain't no coins there! HH AWJ.

  • very very interesting finds! i would hit that place again very cool hunt :)

  • cool ass finds man! HH How did your homemade coil workout?

  • Nice old junk..!! : -)

Keep @ it and HH !!

  • Why did people lose so many buttons back then?

  • @planejet42 The simple answer is 'Cause metal detectors don't find glass, ivory or plastic. People always lose buttons, but we don't find many recent ones cause they not metal. Along about 1870's glass and whale bone buttons mostly take over the market, later plastic....so it only seems like people lost more buttons way back when. Zippers on coats changed things too...

  • @roadkillscjim That makes sense...

  • nice finds

  • Cool hunt and why was the woods closed

  • cool finds, maybe that bras ring was in a hogs snout at one time?

  • You ARE the button king!

  • cool stuff.

  • always enjoy watching Adventures With Jim... congrats on some cool items, there almost certainly has to be some nice old coins there among the buckles and buttons that you are digging... Skeeters versus old ladies nagging about cigarette smoke... pick your poison... lmao... stay with it Jimbo, and go get that coil ready.... HH

  • Very nice finds some interesting stuff there. One of these days your gonna be digging and a coin is gonna flip out of the hole! Great video

  • hey jim , good vid as usual. good finds. my dad was a mason and as i understand they did some really strange things in secret. no telling what those artifacts represented. cool stuff.
