Also, when you die, have you even clicked on "Go to the title screen" instead of continuing the game? That way, you just start over from the last level you saved at, with all your items. ;)
Its put down to just being tired, altho that being said, im damn glad i havent played this game, cus if that happened to me, id snap the cd and throw it out the window
