I prefer the Champions be included in the regular FIFA game, I dont want to pay (and at the moment cant) more for the Champions League tournament when in the past it was already included in the regular game. Hell I miss when they included the World Cup tournament every four years in the FIFA game, now they try to make as much or a little extra money as possible.

Maybe if it was cheap, but they(EA) always try to sell it at regular price when in the past you paid one price for all in one game.

they should put the champions league team-lineup screen in fifa 09 everytime u play a champions league match in manager mode... and if its called FIFA 09, why isnt there a 'FIFA World Cup' mode where u can use a nation and play it in the world cup, with qualifying and than the finals etc..

sounds like a nice idea but again, why dont they just compile all these tournaments and features into ONE fifa game to make every year. that way you can guide your team to champions league, international club cup, euro cup, international friendlies(and actually play the one you choose to) and world cup. this would be the best game EA would have if they did it right, but they wont.

It sounds like a pretty awesome idea to me. It means you can develop your own style of play and modify your players to fit that and have your team grow over time. It isn't as if you're unable to play with the actual teams so I don't see the problem.

I think you guys misinterpreted the intended information. What the announcer is saying is that this is an online game in which you are given a starter pack which represents your 'initial team'. You earn credit which can be used to buy booster packs. In addition, if you look at the 38 second mark, you notice how the player has selected the left team. You'll most likely be able to actually play. What this is however, is a very original and clever scheme to unlock stuff.
