I too was a fan of Fisi in his early years (at Jordan, Bennetton and Sauber) but went off him when he had a tough time at Renault. I dont agree that he is past his use by date. I think he has come alive since moving to Force India.
I am not trying to turn the championship around hell5torm. I am fully aware that Ferrari messed up Massa's pitstop and that is why he didn't score points. However Piquets crash was the cause of an overly full pitlane which meant Ferrari switched their light system from automatic to manual, meaning a mechanic had to give the green light. This proved to be their mistake. Had the crash not occured, Ferrari would have used the normal system and Massa would probably have won.

They are all solid drivers, some are rookies and have lacking control but they all are solid drivers they just need the car. Fisi will get a few podiums out of this mark my words. Monty must be wanting to join make a wish!

Think it's great for Fisi and I'm really happy for him. It's a shame his career has never lived up to the talent he's shown in occasional flashes of brilliance like last week and Brazil '03. To end his career with Ferrari will be great for him, hope he can make it 7 different winners in 7 consecutive races at Monza.
if renault really did sacrafice piquet jr to bring out a safety car and put alonso out front in singapore '08 then theyre a disgrace to f1 racing. to me thats the worst kinda cheating. it takes the race out of the drivers hands
Fisico to Ferrari! must be like a dream for him, Its almost as crazy as Manor or Campos ringing ye up and saying: Pep & Max, be our drivers next year. also, he's worked with the great Rob Smedley before at Jordan, so that will help him. Great vid as always, cant wait for Monza, love that place!
Didn't hear about that. Only seen the first day on Eurosport. We had a similar incident in a British Hillclimb when some enviromentalists put oil all over the track. Could have been VERY nasty.
bloody tree huggers. the largest free airshow in europe was held in Galway city until the anti-war tree huggers started making trouble it was then cancelled. its the same people who would try and ban F1, Im delighted for fisi and like max said Fisi has alway been a solid driver but not an outstanding one, perhaps with the red overalls on he will step up to another level for his last few races and surprise us all.
