The first car I remember riding in was Dad's '36 Chevy 2-door sedan. It was our family car all through WWII when no new cars were being built and used cars for sale were very scarce. He finally found a used '41 Pontiac for sale in upstate NY and gave the Chevy to my Grand-dad who drove it for another few years. That brings back great memories of the era when AMERICAN cars ruled the American road and AMERICAN Armed Forces ruled the globe.
