well in the manga, it never mentioned that he was white. There would be alot of reasons why hes got an asian appearnce.
number 1: he wears asian martial arts clothing.
Number 2: the manga is based off an old chinese legend.
Number 3: Son Goku is an asian name.
Number 4: hes constantly eating asian food.
Number 5: hes got black hair and dark eyes.
