  • Philippines needs:

    More Responsible parents

    Better Education

    Responsible Citizens

Type of government doesnt matter, if filipinos were more controllable and have a sense of responsibility then philippines will prosper. RH Bill + 2 more years in School + heavier punishments for law breakers.

  • @1CavitePride1 you mentioned "better education" why do we have poor education? is it because of lack classroom and schools or pinoy are just darn lazy? You expect to changed the 80% uneducated pinoys and jejemons just to make progress? well, thats like living in a dream. Look at USA, whats the reason for its downfall? Americans are turning stupid everyday and soon America will be like Philippines. Wake-up! if you want the citizen to change the government should lead...

  • @bulos45 A country is its people and dreams, Dont you know that you are already living in a dream that was planned years ago?. Taking 10% or even 5% from the current 80% is a very good start and well be out of uneducated pinoys in no time. USA will never be like PH, study your constitution and USA's wealth, currently you belong in the 80% uneducated pinoys, Filipinos should act and stop putting everything on your government. People and its Government should act together. Thats your mistake.

  • @1CavitePride1 You're wrong. Gov is the main reason why phil is a 3rd world country... how many OFW do we have again? 10 millions? dont you think thats a big digit but how come philippines is still a slum? You see, OFW are doing their best to give better future to their love ones so probably they already doing they participation to the country. OMG! WHY ARE WE STILL POOR? In SG people hate their gov but how come its a super power nation? is it the people or their gov?

  • @bulos45 Typical "Blame it on the Government" issue, The government implements the rules and its law. But its people is who builds a nation. If there was no smugglers, holdapers and other crimes then there would be less problems to handle. You can never blame the government because you voted for them right? So if they do something wrong, its you who really put them in the position to do those wrong things. People is what builds a Government. Now do you understand? Study your Constitution boy.

  • I have too much Indian Co Employee they are confident to say that their country has a bright Future/

  • I agree that Education is the best solution, but sadly, I don't see any politicians supporting it.

  • Even though Marcos placed Philippines under martial law, we can't deny the fact that Philippines reached it's golden age within his length of governance. I'd prefer him than Noynoy.

  • YOU ARE SOOOO PATHETIC! Go to India and eat some kebab! Look what Filipino Intellectuals did to us? They placed us under Martial Law (Marcos) and plundered us off our tax contributions (Arroyo). Your video is truly biased. India is plagued, too. You cannot post something like this if you don't present the two sides of a story accurately.

  • @renzagpasa01 do you support ASSHOLES?

  • We also need to get rid of the filthy corrupt officials. It's so sad that corruption is already rampant at the barranggay level. It's so sickening.

  • giboooooooooooooooo!

  • This is such a superficial look at present day realities of the Philippines. It were not trying so hard to be a great production, it would stand out as one comedic commentary. The facts presented are so shallow and doesn't show the real conditions of both the Philippines and India. Sorry, you failed in this one!

  • FILIPINOS DONT WORSHIP NOBODY BUT GOD!!! ITS NORMAL FOR FILIPINOS TO BE PROUD OF MANNY PACQUIAO AND ITS NORMAL FOR FILIPINOS TO LIKE CELEBS! SO WHAT!? WHAT DO YOU KNOW ABOUT THE PHILIPPINES??! WTH!! PEOPLE LIKE YOU MAKE ME SO PISSED! IT HURTS WHEN SOMEBODY CALLS THE COUNTRY THAT I HOLD PRECIOUS TO ME SO MUCH A PATHETIC FAILED COUNTRY!! :/ OUR ECONOMY IS GETTING BETTER! WEVE BEEN RANKED FROM UNDEVELOPED COUNTRY TO DEVELOPING COUNTRY!!!! IM PROUD TO BE PINOY!

  • @PuffyMango77

FYI, our economy is NOT getting better. You might want to do some research on that. Our president is giving out money as if we're not in enough debt already.

  • @2mixx4dez9 u live in philippines or india?

  • @PuffyMango77 Philippines. Does it matter?

  • @PuffyMango77 Face the facts, it will take us over 40 years just to be able to stand on our own two feet again due to the manipulation of the media. The Philippines has a track record for voting for the most incompetent leaders ever. Filipinos watch television and then they see in the surveys that Person 1 is winning. They end up thinking to themselves, "Oh, para hindi masayang ang boto ko, siya nalang iboboto ko. Siya din naman mananalo eh." And look what happened.

  • @2mixx4dez9 well idk about you but i actually LIVE in the philippines...... and idk if you you might be right about that reasearch stuff...BUT i do know in CEBU, PHILIPPINES, weve been the best weve been in years! ^^ and umm not really lol, filipinos are smarter than that. Its just that all the leaders are incompetent. >.>

  • @PuffyMango77 Trust me, I'm right about the research stuff. We are deep in debt. In spite of what you may believe, I have been in almost all the presidential campaigns during the elections. Filipinos, unfortunately, are not smarter than that and are desperate for any means to make money. You, my friend, are blinded if you do not see this. This is the politicians' way of manipulation. They continue to oppress people and keep them in poverty so by the time the elections come, they can pay them off

  • @2mixx4dez9

You're well aware about politicians manipulating people, so what are you doing, did you do something already to correct the political culture and become effective? Or you are just another Jose Ma. Sison or Nur Misuari that talks a lot that pretends to know how to correct everything in the Philippines but in the end "IT'S JUST A TALK". ...The current President is more of action than talk... Philippines don't need talking President..but a working President...

  • @0303gani0303 One person cannot change this country alone when his/her enemy is the greed of hundreds if not millions of people. My name might not be out there but I do everything I can to help out the people that I can and that is my duty as a Filipino and as a human being. But do remember this, the compassion for your fellow countryman will always prevail in the end. Our President is not a leader. He does not have the qualities to be a leader. A leader does not settle for mediocrity.

  • @PuffyMango77 If Cebu is getting better, it is not because of the National Government. Thank your Local Government Units for that. I have lived in Manila, Cebu, and in Davao. Cebu and Davao are in great shape but if you live here in Manila, you will see the true effects of the current administration.

And if Filipinos are smarter than that, why in the world would Filipinos vote for incompetent leaders? Does that even make sense?

  • @2mixx4dez9 because all the leaders are incompetent, they just pocket the money. philippines is corrupt

  • India isn't a great example of a successful country. It has a higher poverty rate. It has a lower per capita (PPP) - $3,339 vs. $3,737 (2010). Switching to a parliamentary system is not necessarily the simple answer. There are still impoverished countries that use a parliamentary system - Bangladesh, Bostawana, Nepal, etc. There are also countries with presidential systems that are relatively successful - US, S. Korea, Brazil, etc. It may have benefits, but it's not the simple solution.

  • i hate fillipinos

  • @lawker777 Don't worry. I doubt we'll like you that much either if you can't even spell Filipino right.

  • @lawker777 speak for yourself, buddy.

you hate philippines because it's messed-up

  • Why's indias half of its billion population live in the dumpster?? that should be more the respective title to these video...

  • You Pinoys are pretty humble. But seriously, India isn't that great.

  • i agree with the premise that we are too focused with personalities..... we should have shifted to parlimentary system a while back.... but then we were so worried president ramos was trying to extend his term....god help us all.....

  • no matter what it is i believed in my president.!! Philippines is not a failed state.. i believe that Filipinos is the big failed.

  • i dunn what to say... but as much as other Filipinos i want our country to have intellectual leaders to make our country a pleasant place to live in. About the change in system, i am favor about it, this system may be effective in choosing good leaders. Please dont calll filipinos are stupid and fool. may be these people are just being manipulated of sweet promises during campaign periods of these leaders. SULONG PILIPINAS!

  • @irosern People who are constant;y manipulated with sweet promises during campaign periods are STUPID and FOOLISH! Who else would vote for Joseph Estrada, Lito Lapid, Jinggoy Estrada, Robert Jaworski, Bong Revilla, Manny Pacquiao, Ramon Revilla, etc.? Maybe these celebs can do well in local politics as mayors and governors - but not in Congress (House and Senate) to legislate laws.

  • thw person who posted this is pro-marcos. walang kwentang video 2. sabihin mo yang mga bagay na yan sa pamilya ng mga pinatay ni marcos na mahimasmasan ka bata. swerte ka at hndi napatay ang ina , ama , kapatid o kaibigan mo nung martial law.

  • It's our political system that's at fault. If we shift to parliamentary form of government, the party and its platform is being voted during the elections, not the personality. But knowing that the Cory Constitution can't and will never be amended, We're stuck to the gutter while our Asian neighbors are very successful.

  • They believe that changing the system is the solution. I believe changing the people is the answer.

  • philippines is a failed state for one reason only and that is its people is not smart enough to create a successful society.

KANYA KANYA NA TO......

  • i had encountered videos like this i think the Phil will rise soon if and only if they use a Parliamentary system that was introduced by the british, used by singapore, and canada

  • @PRAETORIAN888 So many Filipinos know how to read and write, but real education comes from understanding. And so little Filipinos actually understand the English they read or hear. Our education system is also pretty bad, there is no focus on critical thinking whatsoever, it is on memorization. From some of the replies here, you will already know how little is understood regarding this issue. Most of you are arguing about things unrelated to the issue of parliamentary vs. presidental systems.

  • @sdas259 GDP is not everything. India is a country of extremes. They have some of the richest and poorest people in the world.

  • @PRAETORIAN888 CONT.: And that many Indians have contributed a lot to the fields of science, literature, medicine, etc etc in recent years? Yes, the Philippines is more literate, but we barely produce anything. The poverty in the Philippines is not as bad as the poverty in India, but at least they are progressing, while we are deteriorating. You are only aware of the India you see on the media.

  • this is so weird. how can Philippines be compared to India? its 1/10th of the population and has the GDP of one state in India (Maharashtra)...compare Philippines to Vietnam or Indonesia all ASEAN members. Leave out comparisons with India...we are not same race or share same religion or culture...nothing is comparable with these two countries...

  • even if we switched to a parliamentary system, it will still be the same people in power. how will that change anything?? (Filipino Citizen)

  • GIBOOOOO WOOOOOOOOOOOOO

  • CONT...

BASED ON POPULATION RATIO, PHILIPPINES HAS MORE EDUCATED POPULATION THAN INDIA.. ALMOST ALL IN THE PHILIPPINES ARE LITERATE AND BILINGUAL..

AS FOR CORRUPTION, INDIA IS FAR MORE CORRUPT THAN THE PHILIPPINES, IT IS JUST BECAUSE THERE MEDIA ARE MORE RESTRICTIVE THAN THE PHILIPPINES. IT IS BECAUSE OF THE SECURITY ACT OF INDIA THAT THEIR MEDIA IS CONTROLLED.

IT IS JUST THAT IN THE PHILIPPINES THERE ARE MORE FREEDOM FOR INDIVIDUALS TO PURSUE THERE DESIRES IN LIFE.

  • @PRAETORIAN888 I think a lot of the stuff you've mentioned is not related to the video at all. The user who posted this video is just talking about the political systems of the two countries. Yes, India is very poor, the cultures of the two countries are quite different, etc etc. You seem to look down on India and don't like the Philippines being compared to them. They are still really poor but did you know they are making a lot of progress?

  • @PRAETORIAN888 so, how can you explain to us the advantage of having a country with a public broadcaster like INDIA????

  • CONT.. SECONDLY THEIR SECURITY ACT IS SIMILAR TO THAT OF MALAYSIA BASED ON UNITED KINGDOM'S SECURITY ACT. SUCH SECURITY ACT IN THOSE COUNTRIES ALLOW THE GOVERNMENT TO TAKE YOU AWAY AND PUT YOU IN PRISON FOR QUESTIONING INDEFINITELY IF THEY CONSIDER YOU AS A THREAT TO THEIR NATIONAL SECURITY OR INTEREST. EX: YOU JUST CAN'T BE A POLICE, SOLDIER OR POLITICIAN OR ACTORS IF YOU BELONG TO A LOWER CASTE..

  • YOU CANNOT COMPARE THE PHILIPPINES WITH INDIA. THEIR SOCIO-CULTURAL AND RELIGIOUS ASPECT ARE VERY DIFFERENT. FIRST OF ALL INDIA HAS A CASTE SYSTEM WERE AS THE PHILIPPINES THERE IS NONE. MEANING IF YOU WERE BORN A BEGGAR IN INDIA YOU SHOULD LIVE AND DIE AS BEGGAR AND THEY DON'T EXPECT YOU THE COMPLAIN ABOUT IT, ITS JUST PART OF YOUR KARMA IN LIFE.. ALSO YOU YOU ARE NOT EXPECTED TO JUMP TO THE NEXT HIGHER CLASS OF CASTE.

  • The video is a bit unfair though. The Philippines is not without its share of outstanding leaders.

  • iam indian but live in philippines ,philippines 100 time better to india this is true so many cuzes ,who stupid upload this , iam also respeat to my mother land india

  • @paulharwinder How are we to believe you when you can't even communicate what you want to say in an effective and understandable manner?

  • iam indian but live in philippines ,philippines 100 time better to india this is true so many cuzes

  • Do not assume that a shift to a parliamentary system will stop the Filipinos' inkling for "winnability". What's to stop organized party lists to employ celebrities or famous public figures to win the hearts of the masses? I hate to say it but it is this Filipino mentality of looking at the personality first rather than substantive points that they are in this conundrum. I've been here for 10 years and I can honestly say it is your own people's fault. You reap what you sow.

  • @Sniper2008009 Furthermore, the country is not ready for a Parliamentary system. Such a system requires solid party blocks with no political butterflies and a mature political culture. All of which is lacking in our country.

  • @Sniper2008009 They keep the masses ignorant and stupid, and when they commit stupid acts, you blame them? Lupit mo, ruthless ka preng.

  • @creampie98

You have nothing but yourselves to blame. Who voted them in and who put them into power in the first place? That's right, YOU Filipinos. I've heard stories in ur country about people selling their votes for a measly can of sardines or for a measly P100-P300 amount just so they can have something for the short-term and being in your country for 10 years, I can say without a doubt it is true. U have nothing but yourselves to blame for this conundrum. Like I said, you sow what u reap

  • Cont'd:

But wait, I forgot. Foreigners also aren't allowed to speak out any critical statements about ur country since you're all so oversensitive fools who have issues of inferiority complex. I'll just shut up now, as I'm pretty sure you will write a long-kilometric tirade in defensive about your countrymen's idiotic & insane actions. Just because they're ignorant & poor, it does not mean they are excused. If they were, then let them steal & rape. After all, they're just ignorant and poor.

  • Stop insultinh. I completely agree with you, i always question the politics in the philippines.......just tone it down -.-

  • i have nothing against parliamentary system, but how sure are you that not the same personalities will lead the country once it's implemented? liberal party for example or partido ng masang pilipino, who do you think parties will have as their standard bearers to win votes? isnt it the same thing? india as a model for a successful parliamentary state? you must kidding? i suggest you go to india first and visit calcutta and bombay for better understanding of what you are talking about.

  • 5) Everywhere men will hate and betray each other (Matt.24,10; Mark 13,12-13; Luke 21,16-17).

  • I am 100% sure of one thing. You did not vote for Noynoy. :p

  • Do you even understand what a 'Failed State' means?

  • @riain banning condoms is considered failed state and backwardness

  • @FiIipinoUnggoy Please check Fund For Peace and Foreign Affairs criteria on what constitutes a Failed State. PHL is not included.

  • @alagad0ni0mngkepweng thanks po!

  • That 60-40% is total bullshit. Chinese owns the businesses here in the phili and they only help their won kind. filipinos are 2nd class citizens in thier own country. and this is coming from a full-pledged fili. but happens to have a chinese grandfather. open your eyes ppol. I'm all for a "REAL" open market. We all end up still fucked anyway.

  • Well sa tingin ko, its the educational system. We need to have a better education and to have education to every children. We may not see the difference it makes in couple of years but it will, it will.

  • Also, the perceptions that Philippines is an open and free market economy is just a myth. We are a protectionist state and the Constitution affirms that economic retardation of our nation which results of monopoly in the domestic and export markets, emigration of our workers due to lack of job opportunities and perpetual poverty. We must scrap the 60/40 economic restrictions of owning a business and leasing/owning a land and let non-Filipinos to do a business without restrictions.

  • Philippines is a failed state because the Constitution itself perpetuates it. Our constitution was based of false belief that Filipinos are solidly united with one language that in reality, there are hundreds of languages and cultures in the Philippines that is why the tax payers money from Visayas and Mindanao will be siphoned by the central government of Manila that is why many countrymen will try to flee from the provinces and go to Manila because of flawed system of government.

  • @halofighterhq Why are you blaming Noynoy about all that? Why won't you look at another perspective, say, kasalanan ng media yan kasi yan lang ang pinapakita nila satin? Parang di mo ata nabasa ang part sa video saying that the oligarchs are controlling the masses through media? Think about it.

  • It all starts with the ATTITUDE!

  • IF PHILIPPINES NEED FAST CHANGE IT WILL NEED A FASCIST LEADER!

  • Point to note is that India has some of the most corrupt politicians in office. Just like the Philippines.

  • @mad8london247 true and that just shows that corruption by itself is not the problem. because if india is very corrupt and so is the philippines, then why is india rising in the world stage while the philippines is going down the drain. why does india have intellectual leaders while the phils has lousy leaders? corruption is not the issue. mawawala rin yan kung yumaman ang bansa. pero start first with a system that makes good leaders emerge.

  • @alagad0ni0mngkepweng Great Point. It's also worth noting that the United States has a presidential system yet is the most powerful and richest country on earth. Americans are disciplined because they have respect and fear for the law. Perhaps it all boils down to punishing those who commit a crime, corruption included. That's the problem in the Philippines, the corrupt are not punished. The people forgive corruption, and forget punishment.

  • @alagad0ni0mngkepweng The education in the philippines is so primitive.

  • Kamukha ko si ROBOCOP?? wahahaha

  • @djgroundzero thats how noynoy abnoy will fight corruption. kasi kamukha niya raw si robocop.

  • hahahhaha xD , noy noy abnoy kamukha si robocop ^_^

  • Ok great. What if under the parliamentary system, all the celebrities gather and form a single party, then they collectively win the elections through media mileage.

    What now?

  • @sugargame doesn't matter. they will still need to choose the most competent & best among them to be their leader. so kung panalo sila, best of the showbiz celebs is the prime minister. o ngayon kung palpak ang party nila, tanggal agad kasi parliamentary. next election di sila panalo. kaw talaga di marunong gumamit ng utak puro kontra pero walang pag-iisip. typical loser na pinoy.

  • We should now shift to parliamentary system of government so that celebrity actors/actresses and people w/ famous names will have no chance of getting elected.

  • this video is really true....we should shift our system to a parliamentary one.....dapat ang mamuno sa bansa ay ang taong may karanasan na at meyroong record..hindi yung artista o kaya anak ng bayani....kaya walang nararating ang Pilipinas dahil sa mga mindset musmo ng mga pinoy....

  • THANK YOU FOR THIS VIDEO! THIS IS SO TRUE!

  • @rrlcruz matsala! matalino ka at mabuhay ka!

  • @rrlcruz thank you thank you. magaling ka, matalino!

  • I totally agree with this video!

  • Philoz are smart but choose to act dumb thats why. I see it every day im here. Educated and smart but act like fools and dont stand up past the ignorance. Your perants teach to you to be bound by others and not stand on your own feet. Your family culture is beautiful but it restricts free thinking and self pride. The major problem also is religion being the government structure and dictator of policies rather than making common sense policies to forward the country. It can be great but it wont.

  • @Opticalgaze

Filipinos are not smart. Like most Austronesians with an average IQ between 70-86, precision is of more importance than substance. Pinoys may memorize a whole lot of their books and recall a lot of "facts" but do they really understand those facts or are they just simply exercising memory recall? Just because someone can has great memorization skills does not mean they are smart.

  • @Sniper2008009 Actually, many Filipinos are intelligent. Unfortunately, due to the government's little interest in developing a better education system for us that makes education a right rather than a privilege, not many Filipinos get the opportunity to develop their intellect. Many of us do not just memorize. Please try not to stereotype us just because you know a few Filipinos that may base their "intelligence" in memorizing.

  • @HeyBiaaatch GMA did fare better than N/A. She knows how to do economics, N/A knows how to whore attention with no substance.

  • @HeyBiaaatch Besides, if we're talking about the lesser evil, then who is definitely better?

  • @chorvaqueen I think the one who deserves that position is one who has a credibility and good track record in governance like Gordon or Gibo not those personalities :P

  • Masyado maaga for this my friend. :) elections will be 5 years from now.

  • @roland748 walang aga-aga. truth is truth. facts are facts. walang aga-aga niyan.

  • THE LIBERAL PARTY OF NOYNOY AQUIN O ARE THE MOST EVIL AND CORRUPT POLITICAL PARTY IN THE PHILIPPINES !!!! EVIL,EVIL PPL !!!
