The wood vs. metal baseball bat test

This test is utterly moronic and I almost feel offended that you would think we are dumb enough to think that your results are correct. They aren't measuring the speed of the ball off the bat, they are measuring the bat speed (which is why the results were relatively the same). If you are going to try and do this test then I suggest getting someone that knows where to point the radar gun so the results come out accurate because it is a fact that baseballs come off a metal bat faster.

this is very hard to believe after seeing guys like albert pujols swing a metal bat - not once did they give the sizes /weight the wood bat was likely a lot heavier or lighter and shorter - in either case with soft toss pitching would creat moer a trampoline effect for the wood bat - but with faster pitching no way in hell the metal bat loses ...not even by close the speed would be in the 120

These guys are fucking retarded. Who in their right mind thinks that the ball is coming off a metal bat at 86 when he crushes it? Im surprise that these guys that have such a baseball background could be such dimwits. Those balls are coming off at at least 100mph. I dont know what they are measuring but they are certainly not measuring the ball off the bat.

The radar gun is pointing directly at the bat. So its just measuring the bat speed, not the speed of the ball coming off the bat.
