What's wrong with women enjoying an anime that satirizes itself and other media? it's a cleverly done anime with a sickly awesome sense of humor. Sure the smidgeon of sexism and male gaze that is ever present in anime pushed me away, but I still love it despite any flaws, because it is highly satirical and just downright hilarious.

I agree with Watermelon that it's the diversity of the viewership that allows a discussion to be made about any tvshow/anime/art.

I'm actually not dissappointed with the female viewers, i'm dissappointed about the male viewers, this was supposed to be a "males" anime but the "shitty" cartoon style of the anime was what drove away males and raked in the female viewers, because the art style somewhat resembled the powerpuff girls, i actually enjoyed the sever different art styles used throughout the production of this particular anime, some others like fooly cooly didnt pull it off so well. im male btw!

For example my brother always picks the female version of any character when playing a game. Its sounds very good with the mixing of the main vocals and the pitchy voices up until the part starting right at 1:34 where the mixing sounds really sloppy even though your hard work wasnt sloppy.
