  • I know this question was asked over a year ago by apexeon1, but I think the writer was named Marion Easterling. The song was published in many song books from the era of the late 1950s and early 1960s.

  • I've always been impressed by Gerald's singing.

  • London Parris and The Apostles (The Rebels) did a great job on this song, however, this is the best I've ever heard and it's got such an impulsive feeling. -luv it -Les

  • I wonder how low gerald can go!!!!????

  • Gerald started singing in 1949 at age 16 and that should make him 76 years old and he is one of the best out there today!

  • That was fun!!!

  • IMO, there is not another bass out there right now who can do what Gerald does night in, night out. You can understand every word, pitch is correct, quality is so smooth and this at 74 years of age, go get em Gerald.

  • Any idea who wrote this song. I know there is a video of the Speer family doing a version. I would like to get some sheet music if I could find it.

  • wow, never heard this song but agree gerald was outstanding as well as the trio

  • Andrew Ishee one of the best....

  • A great bunch...hope Josh didn't blow a fuse! Gerald can do some bass singing!

  • my new most favorite youtube video. WOW!

  • Hidee Alan!
