Davecat's story is pretty sad. But it bothers me that his self esteem is so low and he's so pessimistic that he becomes too lazy to deal with real life and all its heartache. Dating "organic" people is just a part of life. And so is rejection and failure. U ache, then get on with your life, you grow and learn from your experiences so you can eventually find the right person. I think he's drawn the wrong conclusions from his life experiences.

I don't think these men are "sick", I'm a girl and I honestly just think they're lonely. I think they have some psychological problems honestly. And this is can be a serious problem.
